Commercial trucks in Ft. Thomas

There is a Planning Commission Public Hearing on Wednesday October 19th at 7:00 pm at the City building concerning changing the text amendment of Ordinance 9.8 C to allow larger commercial trucks/vehicles to be parked on our residential streets. This amendment would increase the weight limit to 6000lbs or more (now 4000 lbs.) Presently the ordinance does not allow commercial trucks weighing 4000 lbs or more and exceeding 7 ft.in height to be allowed to park on our city streets or in driveways unless in an enclosed building. Do we want larger commercial trucks with signage, ladders, orange cones and rear backing horns to park in our residential neighborhoods, I DON'T!
Please pass the word and attend this important meeting!
