I have a place out on 46th. It's 2 big bedrooms and 2 full baths. I would prob go $800 a month but very picky about who I rent to. I want somebody that would take good care of my place.

$800 is to much for a 2 bedroom 2 bath. Unless it's sitting on a big land? A 2 bedroom would probably go about 575 to 650.

@1st-$800.00?!...really? That is way too much buddy. that is trying to stick it to people. This is not Midland or Odessa. I live in a 3 bdrm 2 bath on 2 lots and i only pay $650.00. Sounds to me like you are trying to take avantage of people just because they work in the oil field. For everyone else looking for a place, keep looking, there are places in town that are priced better than that.

It's not a little 2 bed room. It's big. Huge front yard, bigger back yard. 2 car garage. Laundry room, storage room, big living room. Taking advantage? Hell no, that's being generous. It's all electric, your electric bill is never over $200 and the only other utility you would pay is water which averages $25.00 a month. It's a great home. But I already know how people are; always wanting something for nothing.

And sure, there are places in town priced better than mine. But I guarantee its not the quality that my home is. You get shitty houses rented out in town. You will deal with roaches and bugs in town. You will deal with leaks, old ugly cabinets, ugly flooring, etc. your going to deal with houses that are worn down because the previous renters didn't care that it was not their property and they punched holes in the walls, let their kids write on the walls, and let animals stink up the place.

For starters i didnt say i had anything at the moment. 2nd i wouldnt be trying to take advantage of anyone, hence the reason for asking. But i also know anything under 800is UNDER priced anymore. Look at the newer apts,at what century 21 rents, at joe hernandez... its all high. I know one for sure on Dees st thats 1000/mth for 4 br. But if ypu think its high here, try pecos and kermit

Your price is lower then 80% of the houses for rent leave it as is and it sounds like a great deal.

Sounds good to me! I pay $750 for a run down house. 3 bdrm, but extremely small! No back yard and it's so old you can tell the condition of it just by looking at it. Only house available that was "somewhat" decent. Joe Hernandez's were around da same price, but crappy! People want everything given, that's why they talk and complain.

Wooooow people really?! Obviously you dont get out of Ft Stockton that much. 800 dollors for a 2 bedroom is amazing good! And on top of that its a house not even a apartment! Who wouldnt take that deal. People that think that is too much need a reality check and stop going out every night and buget money then youll relize you could afford that too and not live in a dump like you probably do know
