many people look at the lowrider today and do not understand its meanings amd values. when these cast off cars came into the hands of the chicanos, many of whom were closely tied to their mexican roots, they began as all hispanics are apt to do. to define themselves and make an unintentional statement to the world. not only is the lowrider a visual statement but it is a statement way of living. to relax, to go slow, to be be PROUD and NEVER sell out who you REALLY are. some people need to get out of stockton alot more because lowriders can still be seen throught the U.S. LOWRIDERS POR VIDA.

that red convertable is probably worth more than the house you live so im sure if he can spend thatmuch fixing it up than i know he can afford gas. and fyi he sold that impala and has started another project on a firme bombita. im sure youll see it cruzing around in a whole min. it does take alot of money to fix up the cars and if lowriders were dying down then tell me why is the car show always packed and like i said when you get out of fort stockton you will see lowriders every where

in reality it all comes down to taste and what you like. I was born and raised in dallas, moved to stockton during middle school, moved back to dallas after high school, now im back taking some time off before joining the work force.

i have to say...people with lowriders don't give off the best image so you can't blame modern day culture for looking down on it. if I ever see a lowrider in dallas...it's in south dallas aka the ghetto...
