What's going on there? Heard there was a 5% pay cut for employees and major changes in the maintenance dept?

Costs rise, but the Board was too scared to raise the mill levy. That's my guess.

In this economy it was wise not to raise the mill levy.

Pretty simple really, just fire everyone, then hire back the ones you need and others to do the job and then the slackers can't file discrimination.

I put in a application last week but doubt I'll get an interview even though well qualified because I don't kiss ass or $uck Di<k.

So they cut jobs? I remember when they convinced the city to let them have the old Armory building & they were in such great shape financially and could afford to make the necessary changes to make it fit their needs. Instead of going after the low wage earners, why not start with the higher positions where you can save more $$?

they are making all janitors, grounds keepers, plumbing and electrical mainentance people resign and have to re apply for their jobs.
not only that but if they do get rehired they have to start all over again from zero with any vacation time. not only that but for some it will be a $7.00 per hour pay cut!!!!!!!
not only that but they are planning on eliminating the janitor jobs completely by having the other maintenance people do double work!
I guess they think they have to do this otherwise they might be forced to cut back on those big fat raises the leaders of fscc gave themselfs.
I bet Obama wouldn't like this very much seeing the rich get richer and the regular guy get poorer in our school systems here.

Clayton Tatro needs to be replaced. He, with the consent of the board, is lining his pockets at the expense of the taxpayers and faculty/staff.

are you talking about that $25,000 raise Tatro received while he was talking about how it was time for the community to "pay the piper" as quoted in the FS tribune when discussing mill levy increases?
