Never had a problem with Larry's auto.Sounds like you morons on here need to get a car that runs, instead of trying to fix something as old as you are.Maybe these people need a new brain not a motor.
I took my car to him because it had a fuel leak. He picked up the phone and called while I went outside. He came out with a diagram and an estimate for the parts only -$675! I said there is no way I could afford that and then a friend of his starting talking to me. Larry walked off for about 5 minutes and came back and said the "company" called back and the 2 parts it needed could be bought together for $495. Not sure why they weren't considered as being "bought together" in the 1st place but I thanked him and left. Took it to another mechanic who estimated parts AND labor to be in the neighborhood of $75. The part ended up being a $1 seal and I was charged a little over $40 for labor. I know a little about cars and that the leak was either a fuel line or something small due to its location, but I thought Larry wouldn't try to pull one over on me. I tried to keep an open mind but he proved what I've read here and heard from others, which is ALWAYS get a 2nd opinion! Cars are always going to break down, so I don't understand the need to gouge customers and take advantage of their ignorance.
Have a new mechanic

I too know a little about cars. Larry told me I needed a new engine and other work. I knew he did not know what he was talking about, or way trying to screw me. I went to another mechanic, the problem was a leaking head gasket and another leak. Got it fixed for about $200 several years ago, still works, no problems.

We had an issue a couple of years ago with an alternator in my Buick. He told me a new one would run us about $475. He supposedly ordered it, and had the car for almost two weeks. Kept telling us that it was blowing up the alternators. He said he decided to rebuild the alternator since it had gone through three other alternators. I never did see the parts. He would also not have the work order things, the ones that show what he did. He would say to come back later and he would have them. I went back several times, and he would never have them. He was also supposed to replace the fuel injectors on our Dodge. Come to find out he only cleaned them. All in all, in our stupidity, we allowed him to fleece us out of about $7000 altogether. I don't recommend him to anyone, not even my worst enemy. I will say this about him. When we would talk to him he seemed like he knew what he was talking about. I think that is why I was so quick to believe everything. My advice to everyone is to get a second opinion. Especially if you go to him first. God bless you all!!!!

He is at the 5 corners complex at 12th and the bypass. He got my neighbors for parts he said he put on and had me check the car out after they got it back. Supercharger he said he replaced had only been painted and had over spray of paint on the plastic parts around it and on top the motor, injectors he said he replaced and gave him the old ones he said was from his car fit the 01 not 99. Dealership confirmed parts were old and never been removed. Larry refunded 1800 of 1900 when they said they were going to turn him in to the authorities.

He told me I needed a new blower motor. I would cost me $500 dollars. I took it to Delmer and it was unpluged. no charge.

Why would anyone go to this guy for mechanic work? He has taken advantage of so many people. I won't go to 5 corners because of him. Any store owner that allows sombody to use there building and knowing what he does to the people that spent their hard earned money with him and still support him. Doesn't need my business.

He's nothing more than tenant of the building at 5 Corners. Should they make rental decisions based on what folks say about someone on this web site? You keep using the word support. I'm not sure it means what you think it means...

I think over the past few weeks he he has done a lot of dirty deals, and a lot of people were coming after him and he decided he better scoot on out of town under the cover of darkness. The bad thing I see here is that it leaves a sour taste in people's mouths for the few honest mechanics left behind. I hope that maybe a good honest person can go in and take over the location and make a real go of that location because it definitely has potential.

Been there done that and will NEVER do that again..... in 2009 my car engine supposedly went out and we took it to larrys where it sat for months upon months with nothing being done and excuse after excuse as to why it hadnt been done yet.....it had sat in his lot for so long that someone ended up sugaring my tank and then that had to be dealt with which i felt he was completely responsible for it had a completely full tankk of gas in it as well he did drop the tan k and clean it out for me supposedly but did not replace the gas which pissed me off and the motor was supposedly a brand new motor and it went out not even a year after it had been replaced....i had to have more work done on the car shortly after this and took it to another person and when the guy was working on my vehichle i had told him all the trouble i had with the engine ordeal and larry and when he got up underneath my vehichle he saw that no new connections were used but old connections for this supposed new engine as well as a tool was stil left attached to the underneath of my vehichle.........HE IS LAZY A LIAR AND WILL SCREW YOU OVER!!!!
