I have seen alot of negative comments about Bourbon County Sheriff Dept. I thought it was people who had got caught doing something wrong. Now I am see what everyone is talking about. They do not get the bad guys they are scaried to death of the bad guys. So they pick on the teenagers. I have never hear tell of so many teenagers getting pulled over for no good reason. We always talk about bullying, the Sheriff Dept is bullying our teenagers.

Its like someone breaks the law ie stealing your property you call the sheriff(rural setting) and they agree to give it back and its okay with the sheriff well if I went around stealing and then gave it back when caught id be in prison by now why don't they treat all crimes the same that's why there is so many low life scum bags in this county

Control your kids, make'em get a job. Be mindful of the company they keep and set a reasonable curfew. Bet the cops won't have an issue with any of them. I have two teens in my home and we have NO problem. But they mind cause if they don't, they would wake up and find their car on blocks and their Mommy would drop them off and pick them up.

because they are all a bunch of cowards themselves that stand behind badges. Coleman started this so called wonderful crew so hes to blame and it goes several years back, now their hiring the criminals from the 90's lol imagine that welcome to bourbon county sheriffs department.

They are also looking for a man named Clifton Kline. He sent a woman to the hospital in critical condition after hitting her in the face with a bat in front of her 10yr old. Pray for Nancy, help get Clifton Kline behind bars. He is violent and dangerous. He was last known to be on foot. From the Fulton area.

Those of us who have had the misfortune of calling the BCSD with a problem, as in reporting a crime, know that this bunch of slugs make the Keystone Cops look like Delta Force. You are truly on your own to protect yourself from crime, thefts, etc. These donut dunkers have no intention of actually seeking the solution to a crime. I'm not sure they would take a confession. They would send you to dog lady who would take your confession between cigarette breaks and taking fluffy out to pee.

I wonder how many crimes in bourbon county have actually been solved through investigation? I know arrests are made...heard one on the scanner last week when someone called about a stolen vehicle. Can they actually figure out a crime without the general public having to hand them the criminal on a silver platter?

I've also heard of certain folks being
"overlooked" for certain offenses because of who they are, officers escorting folks home who are too intoxicated to drive themselves, etc.

This is not a game of Monopoly & there are no "get out of jail free" cards. If someone does wrong, they need to be punished no matter what your name may be. Also believe that an officer should be ticketed if he's caught speeding but not on a call. I get tired of the rules applying to everyone but those who have to enforce them.

Get off the sheriff's departments back. They do the best that they can do for this county. If you want to rag on someone ream the Judges and the Court system that doesn't do anything with the criminals and get off the sheriff's departments back. Walk a mile in their shoes and see what they have to put with, and you will find out what it is like. They do thebest they can. Besides if the damn crooks weren't crooks and commit crimes we would live in a much better world. Blame the low life scum committing the crimes.

If we didnt have low life scum in Bourbon County we wouldnt have crime and you can shut up and leave the Sheriffs department alone they do the best they can. We need Judges here that will punish the crooks and we wouldnt need law enforcement.

Everyone says blame the Judges or the County Attorney. This comes from people who know nothing about the system at all. You have to go higher if you want to cast blame. Blame legislators, blame the Department of Corrections. Prisons don't want any more prisoners so they have more laws written to protect the criminal. In turn they get lighter sentences and are allowed to violate probation numerour times before finally going to prison. So write your legislators and get off the Judges and Attorneys, or probation officers they are just doing what the new laws are telling them to do.

Hey old bitty you are just plain dumb when it comes to the truth! He didn't hit her in front of her child (he saw nothing). He also didn't intentially try to hit her in the head. What you also don't know is that this Nancy lady helped to break up his marriage. He isn't a bad man just was knocked down and cornered. Going on 2 years from an injury he sustained on the job to his neck (broken, and found a tumoron his spine), he couldn't provide for his family and his wife wouldn't seek employment to sustain the family during his recovery. So they went without and he didn't get the recovery he needed and his wife introduced him to drinking. Then the woman blamed him for not doing his part and he continued to spiral down. Instead of getting him help Nancy convinced Clifton's wife to kick him out of his own house after the wife slapped the son accross the face after he listened to a phone call of the both of them consorting... now tell me is this a violent man, no. He just needed help and they didn't intend on getting it for him. Their solution was to throw him to the curb so his siblings can deal with it and the family didn't even know what was going on. They found out too late he had a problem and now here we all are, posting things. Obviously you don't know Clifton that well and know the the victim Nancy. I don't condone the action but get the facts before you post something like this!

Oh "the old bitty", I forgot to mention he turned himself in. Does this sound like a violent and dangerous man? No just someone willing to do the time for something he didn't intend to happen. Besides Nancy was released from the hospital in less than a week. She also has currently recovered from her injuries and looks quite good in the condition you were stating.

My parents always told us that if we get arrested, we're going to sit in jail because they would not bail us out. Not one of us has ever been in trouble.

It worked!

I had the misfortune of having not 1 but 2 run ins with the sheriff department. Granted not all are bad but officer Kase is a jerk. He likes to throw around threats. I was a victim and he threatened and treated me like I was a piece os scum. 2nd run in was telephone conversation and again did not listen and just threatened. People like him do not do justice to our leagal system. I have spoke with others and they say the same about him.
