I went to McDonalds the other day and. And asked them if they could make my french fries well done. They told me they were done all the way when they pull them up. I said well can you put min? I like mine real crisp. They said they can't do that because of the salt so I said I would wait for them to make fresh fries and I would wait while they cooked my serving extra then they said it was corperate policy that they can't cook then longer then the timer! So I just told them to give me back my money. Its a fryer. I just don't get it. I mean its not hard to deep fry frys and I don't understand how corperate would be against satisfing a customer lol I use a fryer at home and I don't even use a timer lol I think it wasn't a matter of that they couldn't do it so much as a matter of they were getting busy and didn't want to do it. If I'm paying for something they should make it they way I want it. Where's buger king when you need it? Lol besides for all the times they have screwed me through the drive through the least they could do is make my fries crispy considering they won't compensate me gas for having to drive back there not once but twice for a McChicken they made wrong lol its the little things your customers remember and they won't get anymore of my money

Do any of you know how many potatoes are killed in cold blood each year in the United States alone so you can eat french fries? I don't know either, but I bet it is a bunch. Instead of complaining about how they are cooked, how about complaining that they are cooked! Perhaps you could consider adopting a young potato that has lost its parents.

You can ask for fresh fries but as far as how long they are cooked they cannot do that. They have to follow food safety. And if they made a whole batch of extra crisp fries they'd have to throw out the rest. They have to follow the time and temperatures required. Otherwise whose to say your not going to bring them back and say they are burnt

I didn't ask for a whole damn basket of fries lol I'm not that much of a fat ass. I just wanted them to cook my fries a minute longer then normal and food safty is more for under cooking then over lol I like "burnt" fries as you put it so screw your excuses I bet your the ahole who works there who was to lazy to cook my part of the fries (that I was paying for by the way) for an extra minute lol its not hard you dump the fries in to the bin all except my part of the fries then you put the basket back down push timer if to lazy to count to 60 then pull them out and put them in the cartain. Why are mcdonalds employs the only ones confused about this lol whendys can do and so can sonic and KFC and they scew up orders left and right but they know how to make well done fries lol and I'm sure if taco bell had fries they could figure out their fryer and how to count to 60 before some of the people at Mcdonals. Its fries not rocket science lol

Well I don't work at taco bell anymore. I haven't worked there in yrs lol when I worked at mcdonalds in iola we took care of our customers. We were happy to cook fries longer if ppl wanted them that way. We never undercooked because of food safty that's just a bad choice. Don't eat under cooked food it could kill ya lol but this is french frys we are talking about not a damn stake. I could understand if I asked them to under cook my mcdubble. The thing is they used to do it for me all the time but they were getting busy when I got there and I think they were just to lazy to do it reguardless of what everyone thinks its my money if I want well done fries they should of been willing to cook them that way. I mean I went to Whendys and they were more then happy to cook them longer. Good ol Dave lol up urs McDonalds!

This is funny on so many levels. Number 1 its funny that you go to McDonald's in the first place expecting quality food. Number 2 if you like Wendy's or kfc better and they cook your fries they way you want them then buy your fries there. Mcdonalds is just as bad as any fast food place they suck. And the reason that the orders are wrong is that they have to try to go fast for the time regulations that they have to follow. They go too fast and then spend more time fixing their mistakes. Maybe if people wouldnt expect it so fast they could take there time and serve a better product.

This is the most significant topic I have ever seen on Topix. I admire the courage shown here by those who are willing to put down their crack pipe long enough to tackle and weigh in on a subject of such social importance. You make me proud. You want a crispy potato, I can help. When that crack pipe starts your couch on fire, you will be the crispy couch potato.
