Huntington program aims to boost preservation, business

The Town of Huntington Tuesday put a new program into action when it allowed a property owner to transfer wastewater capacity from an undeveloped parcel to another site where a business needs greater capacity.

How is this a good thing for preservation, the land was already safe from development.
I have never heard of this program before, but I can see already it has loopholes you can drive a waste truck through.
By the way Newsday, it might be nice if you reported on where exactly the land is in Fort Salonga and how much acreage is involved.

Beware! Any plan, for any purpose, devised by "agreement" among politicians, lawyers and businessmen has a foundation based on "smoke and mirrors". Land preservation based on such artificial concepts as "wastewater capacity transfer" are equivalent to Ponzi scheme investments.
