Our Place not as welcoming as expected

While the food was good, I have to admit I was not as impressed as I expected to be with the service at Our Place in Ozark, especially on my first trip there.

My husband and I have eaten at Our Place three times now and have enjoyed the food and the people. The owners were friendly, the service is okay, the restaurant is clean! My husband and will eat their more often.

I have eaten there many times, every time except once the service was great, but I spoke with the owner who made the necessary corrections. The food is always better than you'll get elsewhere. I will definately continue to eat there.

You must expect being waited on hand and foot huh?

The service is slow. No, I take that back. The service is fine, it's the preparation that is slow. I think the cook can only deal with one thing at a time. It was explained to me like this once when I expressed concern why our burgers were still not out after 20 minutes. The waitress said that there was a large to go order and that all their hamburgers were made by hand and it took longer. Well, a solution might be to make those patties ahead of time, by hand of course. Then when an order comes in, slap that piece of meat on the grill and voila, 5 minutes later, it's done. This does seem like a no brainer but hey, it is Ozark, where I live and no, I don't think anyone expects to be waited on hand and foot, just that the service could be done in a timely manner.

Well I am from Ozark and live now in Dothan. I wen't there just a short time ago and had to wait for over 45 minutes for a breakfast order that did not even have meat in its order. I will not eat thee again because there were people getting there food way before me. Yes the service was nice but not in a timely manner. I will still eat at some of my favs in Ozark...Heck I could get a steak somewhere else quicker, maybe even two...
