It must be a automatic sentence of life without parol for being convicted of any felony while being associated with a gang. These are throw away people and can NOT be saved. Deport and non-citizens along with their families for the non-felonies.

Gang activity is growing throughout the USA. San Diego County, Orange County and LA, California or all cracking down. Many are illegal immigrants and will be deported. Too bad the borders aren't secure enough to keep them out. Check out the Oceanside Police Dept. website in California. Two officers shot down by gang members. One was killed by an illegal immigrant that had been deported two or three times before and the other officer was killed by gang members born here. The communities aren't putting up with it.

Have the police round up the gang bangers and drug dealers in the middle of the night, take them out to a remote location, shoot them, and bury them. These gang members and drug dealers are scum and don't deserve to live among honest people.

OK, yea, gangs are in full force and how do you battle that? Look at how most of them write,(in this forum) if that's what you want to call it...Anyway, if the police are having a hard time with gangs, I sure wish they would concentrate more on one punk @#$ in Ft. Pierce who was selling dope from his home, was arrested for it, spent no big amount of time in jail, and is STILL DOING it!!! Yes, he's still selling and doing drugs. All from the comfort of his home. If I know that, how's come the police dunt? Ha? Best part is, his family is in the home while all of this is going on!!! If I was the mother of a child involved in that situation, I would run as fast as my two feet could carry me. And NEVER look back. No punk @#$ man is worth that! Not one.

From personal experience with the PSL police dept., they deal with gangs and drugs by turning thier heads. So, if you want to deal with gangs and drugs...go to the Port Saint Lucie Sheriffs office. They actually listen and have the situation under control in no time. GO SHERIFFS OFFICE!!!

The gangs and drug activity has gotten out of control because the former Police Chief of Fort Pierce was too damn busy forging checks and having affairs. There was no time to concentrate. That police department is so corrupt its disguisting! The good ole boy syndrome. Sorry to say.
But, they need someone in there from a larger city and with the know how of getting the job done correctly. The new police chief Sean Baldwin will have his hands full. You've got to keep in mind the former chief was in office for over 10 years and god only knows what else he overlooked.

I agree about the nerve gas. I also think that since the court system is failing. These so called gang bangers and drug dealers are repeat offenders. They only get a slap on the wrist. The courts need to send these gun toting gang bangers and drug dealer over to iraq. I beat you any amount of money, the dealers and gang bangers would be frightened...go figure! If my son can fight this war, so can they! Thank god, my son stayed away from all of that kind of street crap. I am proud of him!

OK, do I go to the PSL police, or the Ft. Pierce police? Sorry, couldn't quite understand your comments. I do happen to know the Mayor of Ft. Pierce, do you think he could help with a drug/gang problem? Or would I be wasting my time? Thanks

If listening to one another's problems and sharing the other trials and tribulations today's teens are faced with are the drawing card for them to become a banger.

Group members also claim to enjoy the respect or fear others exhibit around them. Then they say, the money begins flowing, and with that comes all of the things associated with material wealth that is usually beyond the reach of these adolescents without the criminal activity of being involved in a group.

All of this is quite a heady trip for a young kid. Once a kid gets into a group, over and over they are told there is no way out. They fear serious reprisals from fellow group members if a defection is suspected. Some are told they will be killed if they try to get out.

Others are told that they can kill their mother to earn their way out. You must remember when dealing with a kid involved in this that our beliefs must be set aside because the young person's beliefs are what we are dealing with, and you can bet that they believe everything the group tells them.

You can Stop buying them clothing that could be identified with a group.Especially colors like red and blue.
You can stop them from listening to music that glorifies group life in your home.

YES I'M A PARENT
I rule the house ,not my teens. If they don't like my rules they can move out.
