Vehicles are a little on the high side and he doesn't know local politics at all. Did a horrible injustice to Judge David Rains with tacky radio ads and mailers.

What is amazing to me is the pricing -there is none you have to give a lock of your hair and sign on the line before they will even give you a price. Why I wondered so finally I asked they said "it's like this we sell these cars for the banks you know voluntary turn overs not repos voluntary you know?" No I don't know never heard of it,and while there I got to see something else don't know how they get by with their so called scratch off games, this poor old couple thought they had won something since the card they received said scratch off 3 matching numbers and you've won,...well that isn't exactly the case, the old woman left crying,..such things if you have a heart at all give you pause to wonder about the folks behind it.
Now I test drove a nice looking bmw there was ready to buy it and a sharp 4 door dodge pickup had the money showed them but they would not give me a price unless I signed on the line. I don't sign anything that I don't understand or that doesn't feel right. So Mr. Ledbetter I guess I'll be heading back to hot lanta where they do business in an intelligent manner like all car dealers do and make my purchase there.
or perhaps I'll do your former partner a favor next door and buy something from him.
My bottom line on this place I wouldn't do business with them nor will I ever give them a good review based on there way of doing business.

I can't understand why the city of Fort Payne let him put a car lot in without having to pave it like any other lot would be made to do as they are leaking oil and other toxic liquids so close to the creek that flows all the way through the south end of town. Does ADEM now?

@Buck absolutely perfect, yes I have dealt with them before with regards to those who thought they were above the law perhaps hmmm I'll have to check ADEM's requirements on this however I'm thinking it to be a local and a zoning matter.
My greater concern is the Regulatory Authority both state and Federal that regulate the Banking business.

Very, very shady to deal with. They have a couple nice guys working there BUT Bobby and Stan Ledbetter should be avoided at all cost. If either one of them are speaking to you directly, then its a safe bet that your probably hearing lies.

As to the first comment, totally agree! Very bad taste getting into to local politics. Poor judgement with all the banners and radio ads!

I purchased a truck from Chris Browning at Bobby Ledbetter's lot during a tent sale. Chris was great, pleasant, and did not pressure me in anyway. However they had a "GANG" that travels around doing these sales that will do whatever they have to just to make you sign. I heard some God awful stories some of these other salesman ( and I use that term loosely) were telling customers. I don't know why he brings in these people when he has sales people like Chris. Unless he is go giving his own people salaries its wrong to bring other guys in to sale.

I brought my dad with me, since I am a woman and I don't know a lot about cars so I didn't want to get duped. David, the man I worked with, did not speak to me hardly at all. He spoke directly to my father. Any time I made a comment about a car I would test drive he would tell me I was wrong or complete dismiss me. My dad would make the same comment and all of a sudden David became very attentive and willing to do whatever it took to make the sale. They told me they would deliver my car on a Tuesday afternoon after I get out of work and they would call me that morning to set up arrangments. I call after hearing nothing and everyone is too busy to talk to me. My brother in law calls and they just happen to be free but, bad news. I won't get my car Tuesday after all because they are just now detailing it and shampooing the seats so its wet and "it's too cold outside". I understand the seats would be wet, however you don't wait to do something the day you're supposed to deliever. Not happy with the service at all.

Stay away from the salesman, David.

Would have been a good time to say, Dad let's go look at another lot. If you can't get service at the time of the sale, you sure won't get it if you have a problem later.

I bought my Jeep Grand Cherokee from Bobby Ledbetter way back in the day (before he started working with Twin City Nissan)--and my Jeep doesn't owe me any money. Ten years and 230,000 miles later and who do I have to thank for that? Two words: Bobby Ledbetter!

I signed up on 06/`9/2016 for an email price. My reply email from them said to call for price. I emailed back and explained I wanted the internet price and asked who I needed to ask for. Several hours later a different name I never heard of said he would be happy to help and he thinks we went to school together(Not). He asked which Corvette I was interested in. There was only ONE on website and only One on their lot. Needless to say, I am no longer interested in playing games to buy a car and will not pursue any interest with this dealer.
