Most people usng jc spend more than $35.00 a week on beer, smokes, dip or weed, Pay them off, move somewhere where they don't have a system like that and don't get caught screwing up again.

Hi there -- I am researching the legality of this issue and am very, very eager to hear more about your experience. Is there any chance you (or anyone else who's had experience being jailed as a result of the inability to pay JCS) would write me at the following email: ss5383 (@) nyu.edu ? Thanks so much and I hope to hear from you soon! I can fill you in more on the reason for my inquiry...

When I turned sixteen my father bought me a eight hundred dollar car and expected me to get to school. It just so happens that having a drivers license is not enough in this world anymore; which is understandable. But, when I graduated high school at Albertville, I was over $2,000 dollars in debt because of tickets such as driving without insurance and bad tag. I was only a kid. I'm 21 now and I'm still just as deep in the hole as I was to begin with. I've already spent months in their jail for not being able to pay them when they want and the amount they want. While I was in jail I worked at the recycling center enough days to where my fines should have been taken care of but paperwork got in the way, and the system that our court makes us go through hasn't helped. I can't go to college, I can't drive, and It's hard for me to find a job now because I have a record. But, I've never so much as had a speeding or running a stop sign ticket. They prey on people like me with no remorse. I can't pay my rent and keep groceries in my cabinets for fear of going to jail again and losing my job, again... and what's funny is I know for a fact that our judges are alcoholics and drive drunk all the time. One saturday judge Walker drove up to the recycling center and I could smelll alcahol all over him. It's sorry, especially when someone like me who has never had a drug or alcohol charge can't even move on with my life. The last little go around I had with JCS I had my fine down to about seven hundred dollars from fifteen hundred dollars. I just got a letter saying that it was back up to thirteen hundred in only a couple of weeks and they are wanting to put me back in jail for it. I may have made some mistakes in my life but I'm tired of paying for Albertville's mistakes, like building that new high 5926school and the work they are doing to their town. That's what all this is about bottom line. Preying on the weak to pay for those recent developments.

I agree with kc's being a rip off an from someone having to pay them 35hurt a month would be great it's 35 a week an on the receipt it shows to be filing fees an that 35 dose not go on the fine

JCS is a piss poor way to keep addict's more addicted, the want you to pay them for you to stay clean. What a shameful and clever way to make money. its really a way to more than likely to line the judges pockets even more. I am disgusted with the way the system is and if I ever have to c anyone else have to go through their program,I hope to God I am dead, dealing with that Penny was a big mess and there were times I wish she was dead. I just hope they all there get their day or days in hell.

Crossville seems a little too upset for someone who claims not to have to pay fines. Probably one of those who rather get their beer than pay a fine. Bet they are on court referral too. Talks like a duck, most likely is a duck.
well I guess your the duck because jcs has been decided it is illegal to keep it going lol guess who was right on this one !!!!!!

The whole concept of paying the so-called police and government is a rip off
We the hard working public pay for these "Bullies with Badges " to ride the highways and byways
and harass us!!!, and steal from us and our children. We the actual working men and women of the world pay for fat-ass government henchmen to ride around in air-conditioned cars sitting on their ass most of the time and we allow them to pull us over and
legally steal our hard earned money, what kind of logic is that. We need to end police control before its too late. America you better wake up, we're slowly coming under complete government rule!!!

if people would come in and pay their fines when they say they will ,there would be no reason to have jcs, however you have to sentance them to jailtime and hold it over their heads so they will pay at all.don't pay fine go to jail.simple as that. don't like jcs don't get a ticket.or if you do get a ticket pay your fine on or before courtnite.
You must be one of the people that work there or a family member!! If you get a $100 speeding ticket then they shouldn't make you pay $35 for them having get off the tail and type it in. Seems to me all that would be figured into the fine! You people need wise up and vote these people who could change the system but won't out of office. This communities greed has literally sentenced the offenders to a walking death sentence, color code won't let them even drink a beer, so they have all turned to that fake bs they get at stores and it has turned them all into zombies. But the people at color code and I'm the court system don't care, as long they get to keep locking them up throwing on more fines and longer color code and probation. It's all a money racket. If they really wAnted to help these addicts and do the Christian thing they all preach they would get these people help instead of forcing them into all this nonsense!! Since all This color code showed up across the state things have gotten worse thefts are on the rise, synthetic drug use is on the rise, wake up people it's not working. Get these people help make them go to a Christian faith based rehab and to church, let them drink alcohol it's better than the stuff that's making them all crazy. I would rather deal with a drunk than a spice head

Clearly you don't know shit my fiance got a DUI when he wasn't even messed up he had been working all day fell asleep waiting on his son to finish football practice !He paid 1500 up front what it cost then he goes to jail ..his mom and I went to jcs and ask why He was in jail ..The lady said the judge took it! We ask why she said he is the judge and can do what he wants!! We paid another 500 dollars to get him out ..then they locked him up again he worked some of it off at dog pound everyday except Sunday for over a month. He is suppose to pay 40 every week and He don't always have it ! The interest they have charged him he could pay on house or car .The way I see it he will never get this paid off they don't want him to going on 3 years
