I have only 2 points to contribute. First, the word is spelled paid. Also, whenever SOMEONE WRITES EVERYTHING IN ALL CAPS IT LOOKS LIKE SOMEBODY LET THE RETARD PLAY WITH THE COMPUTER. WHEN I SEE ALL CAPS I ACTUALLY IMAGINE THAT RETARD CHARACTER PLAYED BY ROSE O'DONNEL IN THAT MOVIE I FORGOT THE NAME OF IN THAT LOUD OBNOXIOUS MONOTONE. PEOPLE SEE YOUR POST IN ALL CAPS AND RIGHTLY OR WRONGLY THINK CONCLUDE THAT THEY MAY WELL BE DEALING WITH AN IMBECILE.

it's all about the money for the whole city of Ft Payne...those same cops who say it is a rip off arrest people who test under the legal blood alcohol limit...then they tell different stories about why they stopped the car in the first place...the city puts out warrants for persons who could not go to color code during the time they were ALREADY in jail and of course more money was added to the fines at jcs...drinking and driving and drugs are not ok but once a person makes the first mistake it's hard for them to get out from under the city's grasp

yes i agree 100 percent its jus stupid and makes it so hard on people who only have tickets but same as dan said its about getting that money and as much as they can take and the judge who puts people in jail 4 160 days each charge 4 not being able to pay tickets has no clue how hard people are having it,,,, wish he could walk a min in some ones shoes who has family to feed and cant find jobs then we would see what he would do with his money pay jcs or feed his kids hummmmmmmmmmmm

Alabama Constitution 1901 section 20 imprisonment for debts:
"That no person shall be imprisoned for debt"

The moment one sighns the payment contract with JCS Inc.(PO box Georgia) you government "fine" or "monatary punishment for conviction of crime" become a debt owed to a private business and not the government. JCS has judicial in the name but is not a pert of the three banches of government in the great State of Alabama.

there is another bama constituyinal section or amendment stating that the legislature shall show no special privilagde or immunity to a private buisiness, however i cannot quote it exactly at this time. any ways no worries we still have Section 2:

That all political power is inherent in the people, and all free governments are founded on their authority, and instituted for their benefit; and that, therefore, they have at all times an inalienable and indefeasible right to change their form of government in such manner as they may deem expedient.

option: Dont pay any mind to :if you dont like Jcs pay your fine on time or dont get a ticket. Contact your legislators.

IF YOU DO FIND A JOB IT'S PART TIME FOR EVER TILL YOU GET FULL TIME IF YOUR LUCKY ENOUGH TO EVEN GET A JOB. I SAY IT DOES NEED TO BE ADDRESSED TO HIGHER OFFICIALS.

okay number one jcs is there to take pmts for people that donot have the money to pay all there fine on court night ? number 2 it is a service pervided to you not them and the cost is not 35.00 it is a minumum of 35.00 and only part of that is to pay for the servise they are provideing you so let me break it down if your fine is 200.00 you had no money court night then they charged you court cost of 79.00 now fine is 279.00 right and you payed nothing and each month your going to jcs paying 35.00 only 20.00 is going towards your fine so you are going there 5 months to pay them just 100.00 of your fine they made 50.00 off of you when if you would have pd it court night they would not have made nothing off you and that could have went towards fine right then lets say you walked in there with 150.00 to jcs the first month you would pay them 160.00 then the next month 130.00 you would pay them 139.00 pd in full in 2 months it is the same if you donot pay your cable lights phone bill or car pmts on time you have a late fee and so on and so on just donot get the ticket like they said or in any trouble simple just saying

When I turned sixteen my father bought me a eight hundred dollar car and expected me to get to school. It just so happens that having a drivers license is not enough in this world anymore; which is understandable. But, when I graduated high school at Albertville, I was over $2,000 dollars in debt because of tickets such as driving without insurance and bad tag. I was only a kid. I'm 21 now and I'm still just as deep in the hole as I was to begin with. I've already spent months in their jail for not being able to pay them when they want and the amount they want. While I was in jail I worked at the recycling center enough days to where my fines should have been taken care of but paperwork got in the way, and the system that our court makes us go through hasn't helped. I can't go to college, I can't drive, and It's hard for me to find a job now because I have a record. But, I've never so much as had a speeding or running a stop sign ticket. They prey on people like me with no remorse. I can't pay my rent and keep groceries in my cabinets for fear of going to jail again and losing my job, again... and what's funny is I know for a fact that our judges are alcoholics and drive drunk all the time. One saturday judge Walker drove up to the recycling center and I could smelll alcahol all over him. It's sorry, especially when someone like me who has never had a drug or alcohol charge can't even move on with my life. The last little go around I had with JCS I had my fine down to about seven hundred dollars from fifteen hundred dollars. I just got a letter saying that it was back up to thirteen hundred in only a couple of weeks and they are wanting to put me back in jail for it. I may have made some mistakes in my life but I'm tired of paying for Albertville's mistakes, like building that new high 5926school and the work they are doing to their town. That's what all this is about bottom line. Preying on the weak to pay for those recent developments.

If you do the crime pay the fine. If you cannot pay up all at once which used to be required then you set up payment with JCS. Yes, 35 is steep and that amount could be way lower or done away with. What do you do about someone who has 3 convictions in DeKalb County and 1 conviction in Jackson County and JCS is collecting for all of them? 2 months since thief was sentenced in our case and still no money from JCS. I had told the prosecutor all long that we would never see any money. Guess he will go do his time then. He will end up back behind bars as that was the agreement he made with the court. The courts suspended his prison term as long as he paid. They are not holding it over his head when it was something he agreed to. Something needs to be done when someone owes so much and the courts know he will never repay it.

Back in the day if you went to court and didnt have the money they would let you pay payment to clerks office for free !!!!!!!!!! no ones fussing about paying a ticket !!!!! If you failed to pay a warrant would be issued and you would go to jail. same as Jcs IF YOU DONT PAY THEY GET A WARRANT AND YOU GO TO JAIL !!!!!!! ok difference here is JCS u pay an extra 35 A MONTH to walk in and pay ur fine ..... OK HERES THE THING why make people pay an extra 35 to walk in and pay on fines? YES YOU GOT THE TICKET FOR BREAKING THE LAW NOW PAY THE TICKET !!!!!! WITH JCS YOU WILL PAY 35 A MONTH JUST TO WALK IN AND PAY A TICKET !!!! NOW IF IT TAKES YOU MORE THAN 2 YEARS TO PAY IT OFF THEY WILL TAKE AWAY THE 35 AFTER YOU HAVE ALREADY PAID IT EVERY MONTH FOR 2 YEARS!!! people are struggling right nowm cant find jobs, trying to feed their families in hard times and get tickets because they can not afford insurance !!!!!!!!!! both work the same way so iam asking that you tell me how jcs can charge money over what you owe? also if you mess up on jcs and cant pay it ur going back to court where i have seen em sit in city jails over a YEAR for traffic tickets !!!!! then guess what? THEY STILL OWE IT WHEN THEY GET OUT!!!! THIS SYSTEM WORKS NO BETTER THAN THE OLD WAY!!!!
