My husband and I are retiring and want to move to Fort Myers, Which area is better South or North? I am not looking to live in the inner city. Any tips that you can give me I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you

after re-reading my post it kinda sounds like everyone from my end of the county works at walmart. That is not the case. I actually work for HP. I was merely trying to point out that most everyone from my end of the county works in the neighboring county(clak county/winchester). There are several factories,Hp, hospitals and other job potentail.

uggg! My last post did not come out as intended.lol
I"ll try it again:My family and I would like to relocate from Kentucky to a small town in Florida. The town that we currently live in has a population of about 15,000 and would like a town close the the same size. We are looking to buy a two bedroom house either by land contract or we would be willing to permently swap our own property (which is paid for). Our property is nestled near a small mountain town, great schools and a hometown atmosphere . Our property is an acre of land that is enclosed by chain link on three sides with one side 6 ft privacy fence facing our closest neighbor (about an acre between us). We also have a outbuiding with huge wooden double doors(not sure of the size but I can find out),siding and a shingle roof. There is also a 16 X 80 mobile home. It is a 1992-1995(I can find out for sure as it is paid for also.). This property is five miles from a major highway and the Kentucky River is just down the road from us. A beautiful walk if your in shape(25-30 minutes) lol.We are also sitting 6 miles from town(Irvine,ky) which doesn't even have a Walmart or 30 miles from Winchester,ky which is a larger country town and does have a Walmart Super Center and where most everyone from our end of the county works. We love it here but we are so tired of snow and would like to live some where warm. If anyone is serioudly interested please feel free to contact me at: [email protected] with Fl relocate in the subject line. I also have pics or can even take more pics if desired. Thank you very much for taking the time to read my post, Kay
