“It can ruin a patient's quality of life.”

Some people call them floaters. Eye doctors call them "vitreous opacities." Emily Flynn of Dunedin, New Zealand, called hers "a little fuzzball." She flew halfway around the world to have it removed. via USA Today

I have lived with eye floaters for about 25 tears and I really hate them. I have visited a doctor here in Ecuador South America and he told me that this is not a heavy reason to operate my eyes that is better to get use to but he told me there is a procedure with laser 90 per cent positive and I would like to know if it is true. I have a lotof floaters and I have never get used to them please answer

The harmless floaters usually look like colorless crystal (translucent) strands and dots. Generally, people younger than 40 experience this kind of floaters. Careful observation reveals that they are regular forms of transparent strands and tiny spheres.
There is no treatment for harmless eye floaters, they are invisible to eye doctors. They are just a matter of perception. The acuity of visual system (retina + brain) is high enough to discern them. There is a spiritual tradition, Dzogchen, which considers them as Togal Visions. They are direct perception of reality without mind contours. Eye Floaters offer a lesson in the life. Their message is: learn to love life as it is and yourself as you are. The formula of this message is plain and simple: Unconditional Love.
But only the harmless ones and only the eye doctors can determine if they are benign or not. http://love-eye-floaters.blogspot.com

Contrary to most of the literature in ophthalmology, the harmless type of eye floaters is not caused by vitreous degeneration within the eye. Harmless eye floaters have been there since you were born, no matter how many new floaters you see. You begin to see them because you are acquiring an incorrect vision habit called diffusing. The more you diffuse your vision, the more new floaters appear in your field of vision. The secret weapon for causing floaters to disappear is to regain the natural and innate vision habit of central fixation discovered by Dr. W.H. Bates in the field of natural vision. After you learn to use your eyes again in the natural way for which they were designed and have evolved over millions of years, the floaters will disappear. http://eye-floaters-cured.blogspot.com

Boris - If you still have floaters - yes, you can get rid of your floaters through laser vitreolysis. I don't know if it is available in your country, but you can find more information about all treatments at floaters-in-the-eye.com

A lot of people will be afraid to take dangerous surgical operations when they want to find out the best treatment for different health problems, because these procedures always provide adverse effects. The best way to do is finding out a non-surgical and 100% natural eye floaters treatment. This method can ensure that people cannot get risk nor have severe complications.

I rather like the philosophy, having once been told by a Knight of Malta and ophalmologist, that floaters are experienced by The Thoughtful. Not sure how scientific that is.
