New image for Pine Manor community
#1 Apr 29, 2013
This can be a really good thing and great way to change this neighborhood's image. I have extensive knowledge of growing many vegetables in small spaces. I would not mind lending a hand. As for the community garden, if its sandy soil like many parts of southwest Fl you will have to enrich the soil. The best and fastest way to get dark rich soil is to till in grass clippings leaves especially oak etc. In a few months you will have dark loamy soil. I speak from experience.

It doesn't say how this will be funded. Is it free for people in the community? Will they have to apply for grants?
I hope all of the Pit Bull fighters in Pine Manor, give up on that hobby and take up cooking.
