The law is no less than 8 feet between strippers and customers, and the Fort Myers Police Department (FMPD) is known to shut down strip clubs found to have allowed stripper/customer contact of any kind. And the FMPD shows no signs of letting up on those heavily restrictive laws. Therefore, the only way out of the situation is to abandon Fort Myers and relocate to another city nearby. That means all 4 strip clubs in Fort Myers; Lookers, Fantasy's at the Beach, Scarlett's, and Babes; Time for all 4 of you to abandon Fort Myers and relocate your business to another city/county. Closest metro areas that might allow your business include Punta Gorda/Port Charlotte, and possibly either Naples or one or more of the other towns between Naples and the Collier/Lee county border.

Actually, Charlotte county has even more restrictions on strip clubs, and Collier County outright forbids strip clubs. Sorry people, but the nearest high end strip clubs to Fort Myers are on the East Coast of Florida (Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Pompano Beach, etc), and in Key West.

Please pray for my granddaughter. she is a stripper in one of these clubs. she has twin daughters who need her. she was abuse as a child. like most of these women. there are predators who prey on young females and men. prostitution, strippers. she used to go to college. i know the Lord will answer my prayers and shut down all these strip clubs.

Time to move foward with the times. Best places i know where the adult clubs are is. Manatee county and pasco county where for the most part anything goes and you get your money worth. I think these clubs are great for single people and swingers couples.

I totally agree with you and stay far away from places like that. I have friends that try to get me to go to strip clubs. All I say is dude get a life.

I may have made my statement misunderstood. I do not like those places and I stay far away from them. Those places are nothing but trouble and its easy to tell its their low life boyfriends(pimps) that pick them up after their "dancing" shift is over.
