Do not go there unless you have tons of money to spend. Unlike numerous other clubs throughout the Fort Myers/Cape Coral metropolitan area, Rack'em Billiards has more of a Chicago, Illinois type attitude than a southern attitude, and especially with Chicagoland type policies. One of those major policies is as follows; you who goes to Rack'em Billiards must spend money constantly, otherwise you will be ejected from the club, no questions asked. Their policy states that you are to spend your entire time there either playing pool or drinking. Going there to just hang out, watch the bands that play there occasionally, and mingle is strictly prohibited at Rack'em Billiards. The staff may not be in Chicago anymore, but they use the Constitution of the United States of America to hang on to the Chicago attitudes and Chicago mottos.

First of all, no club can force you to keep spending money or throw you out. That would be illegal. If they asked you to leave, there was more to the story. Secondly, why does everythig have to be compared to Chicago for you?

Because for several reasons.

1; Chicago clubs are generally the type that make people keep spending and throw one out if one ceases the constant spending. Take, for instance, Polekatz Gentlemen's club in southwest suburban Bridgeview. Their policy is that a patron must have a fresh drink on their table at all times, otherwise they kick you out. And drinks are $4 per glass, and when that drink is finished, it costs $4 for a refill, and when that refill is finished, it is another $4 for another refill, and so forth.

2; Chicago is plainly a social desert, with a totally opposite culture than Southwest Florida. In Chicagoland, nobody likes to interact with anyone at all. Chicagoland is basically all snobby, selfish people that keep to themselves, treat others like dirt, and it is even worse in the suburbs, and worse still in the middle and outer suburbs. In Chicagoland, social butterflies are Continuously ousted by club security. Suburban Chicagoland (especially west suburban Berwyn, Stickney, and Forest View) has a massive history of police threats, and even fights and brawls, over single people who just want to interact with other people. Look what happened at the former Hedgehogs club in Stickney! And obviously, there are NO band or DJ clubs, or any venues at all that have bands or DJs or karaoke, in Chicago's entire collar county area (DuPage, Kane, Lake, McHenry, DeKalb, and Will counties), and coincidentally, there is practically no social niceness at all in Chicago's collar county area. And Chicagoland respects the bone dry social desert (no "social butterflies" allowed in any of Chicago proper clubs, and no DJ, band, karaoke, etc places at all in the collar county area) at all times.

If you think it is illegal for clubs to make people keep spending and throw out people who don't keep spending, more than likely it is only illegal in the State of Florida a nd a few other states. From my understanding, Illinois is the exact polar opposite of Florida with it's club laws/club allowances, and the proudly corrupted and money hungry State of Illinois likely authorizes and even recommends nightclubs order their patrons to keep spending and eject patrons who cease the nonstop spending.

First of all, the owners are not from Chicago and neither are the staff. Get your facts straight, dumbass. The owner is also one of the hardest working people I know. Second, they have the cheapest drink prices of any place that I know of. They also never charge a cover for any reason. Third, if you can't afford $1.75 for a 16oz draft, you shouldn't be there breathing my air. You are just a whiny, little coward and you can choke on it.

Dear club gower... There are so many ways to respond to your negative rant. However ill simly say this..... There is a no loitering policy at Rackem, to keep it safe and friendly. If you are standing around doing nothing you eill be asked to leave. Because hard working people font like to be around broke ass bums. Rackem, has the best prices on billuards and drinks in tbe Cape. Our original music shows are always no cover, and there are many specials to offer you a great night out without breaking the pocket. I am truly sorry if you dont see it like that. But my guess is you are jobless , around 25 and still living at home and most likly not a friquent customer.

Information update for everyone; Not only is there a "No Loitering" policy, there is also a "No Singles" policy at Rack'em Billiards. Basically, in order for you to go to Rack'em, you MUST have a PARTNER with you at ALL times! Groups of people also constitute partnerships under Rack'em's No Singles policy.

Any person who is single and/or not part of a group will not be allowed to enter and will be immediately ejected from Rack'em Billiards. The No Singles policy is especially heavily enforced on band nights; in fact, there is a *Zero Tolerance Policy* for single persons on band/live music nights at Rack'em Billiards. Violators (on band/live music nights) will be immediately turned away before they even walk through the doors, and will likely even be reported to the Cape Coral Police Department under certain circumstances, including if the single person attempts to return to Rack'em Billiards on another band/live music night.

First let me start off by saying (Really????) to Club goer! I've only been in Florida for a little over 3 months. In that time I've been to most of the bars or clubs as you would call them around here. From what I've seen, Rackems has the nicest most welcoming staff and customers as well as the best drink prices and specials of any around. Not to mention great bands and other events. From day one, I have been made to feel very comfortable and welcome by all who work there. Your statements are ludicrous. They are a business. They exist to make money. If you are looking for free music, booze and socialization maybe a free concert with friends who buy, would suit your needs a little better. So maybe instead of trying to cost these owners money by spewing nonsense,. Get a job, get a life and become a paying customer. Then you would feel welcomed in Rackems, they appreciate people like that and treat them as such!! Just saying!!!
