Vehicle hits pedestrians on Fort Myers Beach
#1 Jan 29, 2013
We have vacationed in Fort Meyers Beach the last 2 years and are amazed at how most vehicles do not stop to allow pedestrians to cross the street even at the actual signed cross walks...they just keep driving right past you, sometimes they shrug, but no one seems to care that there are signs saying that it is the law to stop..you take your life in your hands when you cross at a cross walk here...so be sure not to proceed until you see that the cars in both directions are fully stopped.
