Ain't no such thing as a 'free' lunch.
So, who's paying?

Part "D" is a misnomer. It should be Part "F" for what they are doing to the elderly.
So it is the store's fault?
How come nobody ever blames the big pharmaceutical companies who won't lower drug prices? Ever! What did they do instead? The lobbied our government until they cut our alternatives, such as buying from Canada (much cheaper). Wake up sheeple!
Instead of curbing the insurance companies, our government has limited our ability to sue.
Hate to say, but you're a bit clueless on this. "Big pharma" doesn't just do this "cause they're greedy". And it's not the store's fault.

Ever met any "ambulance chasers"? They're called shark lawyers because they encourage lawsuits over every thing, whether it is the fault of the drug or not.

You have people sueing because they don't take their meds right, the doc maybe prescribes the wrong thing, they have allergies they don't know of AND because of stupid pregnant women who don't watch what they take during pregnancy. THIS is why pharma costs are so high. It's lawsuit city and YOU are paying for it.

GET THIS PLEASE. And it is because if you don't pay the increased cost for the pharmas, THEY WON'T BE ABLE TO OPERATE AND YOU WILL HAVE NO DRUGS. Simple as that.

These antibiotics have been available for 43 years. Theyíve been paid for thousands of times. Why donít people understand the trivial facts of life yet?

Would you care to elaborate on that? Been paid for by whom?

I have ordered prescription drugs (without a prescription) online from http://inhousegeneric.info about two years ago, and was pleased with the speed and quality of service.
I'm thinking of doing the same thing with my medication. The meds is expensive, but there is a generic version available overseas.
I love the idea of taking responsibility for my own health (or lack of health) and skipping the bureaucracy... to say nothing of having to drive to the doctor, wait in line, yet again, to get a prescription refilled.

No doubt other retail stores, including Walgreen, CVS pharmacy and others, will adopt the same policy as Publix or else loss customers. Certainly, Publix has managed to incur the cost associated to their new policy, giving away certain medications for free. Their new policy, may open the doorway to reduce the cost of other medications and/or offer additional medications for free with a prescription.
Walgreen and CVS and Rite-Aid have the highest prices in town where my cousin lives. Publix and other grocers are getting our business with long lists of generics and other perks. Go Publix.

I have used http://qgeneric.info/#rdkn for about 3 years and find their products to be reliable and speedily delivered. The Support team are very promt and helpful in solving any issues that arise, caused by my errors not the company's. I was a little sceptical initially about buying generic products rather than brand names. However, the Mens' Health products I have bought have been equally as efficatious as the brand names at a fraction of the cost.

http://inhousegeneric.com is an honest and genuine online pharmacy. We were not sure at first because this was our first order of generic medication from this pharmacy. Although it takes a bit long because it got stuck with custom, we are completely sastisfied with this online pharmacy.
You won't be disappointed with them. Their customer service is great too although they need to improve their phone system a bit more. If you need to call them just be sure to call during their working hours. Other than that we highly and sincerely recommend this online pharmacy to everyone.

Naturally, I am skeptical of everything online. http://inhousegeneric.com is legitimate. I placed my first order for the smallest amount possible. It arrived sooner than expected. I didn't pay the extra money for speedy air mail. I placed another order that was much larger and it came right on time. I will definitely use this company again for even larger orders now that I trust them. They also give you discounts every time you place an order which is cool. One thing to keep in mind is if you place a larger order, they will send half in one shipment, and then the other half after that to avoid customs scrutinizing your package. I am very happy, I no longer need to pay tons of money to see a doctor and therapist (and have them tell me a bunch of stuff I already know) in order to get my medication.

Publix is NOT GOING TO GIVE ANYONE ANYTHING FOR FREE! Their prices on regular prescriptions are SOOOO HIGH that this will not be free! They used to fill my scripts until PART D came along! I went to Walmart and my prescriptions were $200 a month cheaper! PUBLIX is not unto free or low prices! Somebody will pay!
That's the way Publix operates in all areas. Food is the same. They put on these big displays of not-yet-ripe and barely fresh produce which only stays out for 2 or 3 days.. still not ripe yet. Then they clear it all off and replace it with more of the same. I'm guessing they're throwing out the previous batches and that's why their prices are so jacked up - to pay for all the fresh produce they throw out every day. I never see too many customers at their pharmacy - I wonder if their high food prices are subsidizing the pharmacist's payroll as well as all the food that's thrown out?
