This is so sad this is happened AGAIN. I lost a good friend the same way 3 years ago and Michael was in the back seat, the kid was speeding down Riverdale blew a stop sign and hit a concrete block, he was speeding 70 in a 35. Funny thing... all the jail time he got was the time he spent until he was sentenced (2 months) and only because he couldn't post bail. He walked away with a smile on his face and his mom will never see her baby again :( Sure he had rules he had to follow (he couldn't drive for a few years) but was that justice? NO. That kid was 19 (the one who was driving) and Michael was only 17, so do I hope for justice for the family YES but it won't happen. ADVICE to young people... Please don't get into a car of a person you don't know. Also speeding is not worth it, to get there 2 minutes faster and put so many people at risk. God be with this child and her family, God be with her brother for the BS that he is having to read/post on this site, some people are just butt holes.

And who might you be? Another "best friend"? Gotta love people who pretend to be friends with someone once they are dead...

Quit being so damn bitter,'brother'. I mean be pissed about losing her, but quit being a jerk to everyone who thought their relationship with her was special. Why the hell do you care anyway? Just be happy that people loved her. What a jerk you are coming across as being.
What gives you the right to judge him? he just wants to know why these people never showed there face or showed they were actually her friend and not just doing it to feel bad for themselves!

Did you choose to fight for this country so you could hold it over our heads and prove to us how much better you are than we are? Jerk-alert!

What gives either of you the right to judge others? I think it's nice people grieve for your sister. They aren't allowed because you've never heard of them? Do you hear how you sound?

Let people be sad, who cares if you can't pinpoint each one. It's really ok.

No I chose to fight for this country to keep freedom alive. To prevent 9/11 from happening AGAIN. But then I lose my 14 year old sister and all the sudden EVERYONE was her best friend??? Im not attacking them for grieving. I'm attacking them because they are putting themselves on a pedestul by saying they had a better relationship than they truly did. And then I got people like you attacking me for it. So whose the real jerk here? The one who would like people to tell the truth and how they REALLY feel in light of his sister's death, or the guy who comes on here and attacks him for seeking the truth?? I'm tired of people coming on here and trying to get a little of Mandy's spotlight to shine a little on themselves.

No one wants to personally fight with you. Maybe you should focus on grieving and talk to people around you. Hopefully you have close friends of your own to make it through this hard time. Talk it out with someone who seems a little more real than this comment page. Besides, this is just a stupid forum. Maybe you could start a real memorial website for your sister, and not worry so much about who cared and why.

Yes this is just a stupid forum. But regardless, people trying to take a little of the spotlight no matter where it is is WRONG. Integrity: Doing the right thing even when no one is looking. Apparently no one has it.... thats why people try to steal the spotlight here, thats why my sister is dead... no integrity.

Who cares about the spotlight. Forget the spotlight. I would think it was cool if people thought so highly of my sister that they would have felt that she let them in to her life and made them feel special to be apart of it. Be happy people thought of her as their friend, and if they are using the situation to play the victim then let them, they need help on a deeper level.

Thats what I was doing for the most part... then you start running around name calling and trying to piss everyone off. Either way, the lack of integrity around here is appalling.

everyone should stop fighting it doesnt help you mourn over the loss of mandy. she was my best friend and i love her dearly and if you were her friend she wouldnt want you fighting about the situation

oh wow, yet another "best friend". How convenient. Dont tell me how to mourn my sister. I'm sure I knew her alot better than you did. If you knew her at all you would also know that she is very opinionated. If she had an opinion, you knew about it. Well, what do you think I'm doing? The same thing she would have done. But thats okay... your Mandy's 50th "best bud" so you would know her better than the guy was there to cut her umbilical cord at birth...

i dont think you should be mad at Mandys best bud, they were friends and mandy also made the choice to get in so dont put it all on her. if you knew mandy she would have gotten in the truck regardless wat anyone else did, she was independent and thats that.
