That man is not a hero. He is going to Colorado to run from the law in Wisconsin because he's got warrants,$30,000+ in back-owed child support, and several children with seriously broken hearts. That trailer he sold? Was in his ex-wife's name - whose signature he forged to sell it. He is a fraud, a narcissist, a deadbeat dad, and is most certainly NOT a hero. He broke my mother's jaw when I was a kid (his ex-wife <caring for his kids without help> is my sister). This paper should read: "Fugitive runs on horseback". Papers would do good to do a little research on someone's background before they run stories portraying someone as a hero.

Kyndra D knows what she is talking about, but not as well as I do on the part of him being a dead beat dad. You see I am his 18 year old daughter, and he was supposed to spend the day with me before I left. He never did. He left despite the fact that when he left he left my Three younger sisters (ages 8,9, and 11)behind. Those are just some of the newest things he has done as a dead beat dad. Before my mom divorced about 5 years ago he was abusive to myself and my siblings. While they were married he spent his money on drugs instead of his children. My siblings and I would not have gotten the things we needed for school or had Christmas if not for my grandma (Kyndra's mother). We would have gone without food as well if not for WIC. So calling a "HERO" is a slap in the face for those who new him, and it is deeply upsetting for his children

Spencer Anderson is my former son in law, and he is nothing like the papers are painting him out to be. He raped my daughter at 15, then told her that we didn't love her only he did, so she married him. He then took her and our first grandchild to WI and refused to let us see or talk to them for over a year. She left him numerous times only to have him threaten to take the children from her forcibly if she did not return. One Halloween he tried to kill himself, our daughter, grandson and baby granddaughter (Summer A) by steering the car into oncoming traffic. He somehow got onto a military installation when we had taken Charity there and talked her into leaving with him again.
We supported them for the better part of their marriage, not for him but for our daughter and grandchildren. TO call this man "heroic" or imply he is something special is an outrage to me. As Kyndra said, a background search would have been prudent in this instance. Why was he on horseback and not driving? Why didn't he have a license? Did he have papers for the horses he had with him? Just a few questions I would have wanted to know before printing an article of this type.
