Why are they dumb and stupid animals? Because they have enough balls to get off there ass and defend this country no matter what? Why don't you pull the stick out of your ass and thank a soldier for the freedoms that you have.

How is it NOT a Bush War? The whole rest of the world and most of the country do not support it. Has old "Bring it on" gone to a single military funeral yet.

war needs to be stopped. this war does not even makes sence. I was stupid enough to join the army but guess what I am getting out. I am very happy. But I feel bad for the other soldiers.

As a family friend of the victim - I am appalled at you lazy liberal dems. How does the death of a soldier committed by a fellow soldier bring about arguments about the war?

This very unfortunate incident took place outside my soldier's window. This event has nothing to do with the war. Two soldiers and their families have had their worlds changed forever. Where is the sympathy and compassion for them? My heart aches for every person involved. While we will never fully know all the events that caused this to happen, we do know that one person is dead and another faces prison - Seems our negative energy would be better spent against our enemies rather than our own.

this happened not even 30 feet from my window while i was asleep.... ask yourselfs as you complain about the war, did you know this soldier? do you feel his families pain? what you dont realize that most soldiers join the army because they want to do something good for once, so by saying we are dumb and stupid animals is not only disrespectful to us, but it is also disrespectful to our families, many of which are mourning their loved ones deaths (in country our overseas). It was the same ignorance you display in these messages that started that fight, so I ask you not to support what you don't believe in(be it war, the american way of life, optimistic views, etc)
I ask you to simply support the soldiers and families of soldiers that go so YOU dont have to.

How can you "suport the soldiers" and NOT support what they do?

If what they do is considered by most of the world to be wrong, unjust, inhumane and just insane, how on earth Do you say you support 'them' but not the invasion and occupation of several foreign nations on pretexts which turned out to be a string of lies? I truly don't get it.

My heart goes out to the familys that were involved in this unfortunate accident. And now when something this bad had happened i cant believe ppl in here have nothing to do but argue about the war. This was not war related. I did not no the victim, but i do believe i no who the accused, was, and since names havent been named, i will not reveal him. I was shocked when i heard about this. The man who stabbed him must have heard a good reason for doing what he did. There is a story that a heard from one of my friends that was also a friend of his and he told me what happened. It was just a total accident. Im sure he didnt mean to kill him him. Mayb hurt him but not kill him.

Anthony Cruse and I were close before he left for boot camp in November and he is an amazing and wonderful man. All anyone knows is the small picture. Nobody knows why this happened or what happened that night, all everyone can do is read page after page of news and still have no questions answered... still only being able to make an educated guess. I feel for Pvt. Timothy W. Crislip's family and friend's... but Anthony's family are just as much of victims... everything has changes for everyone involved. Anthony was suppose to come home this month to everyone who loved and missed him... myself included... but he's never coming home again... I can't say I know what drove him to commit this crime but I know he would have never done anything like this for no good reason... he had a wonderful future ahead of him... which is true of Mr. Crislip as well... so I can't make much sense of this... but what I know for sure is that everyone in this situation is a victim. One man's dead for disclosed reason... and the other is never going to breathe the free air he wanted so much to protect.

I pray for the solider and hope he Rest In Piece.

As for the those Anti-War protesters trying argue on the internet with their horrible grammar:

Please do something productive for a change as in getting involve with your children and help with community service with them instead of making fools of your self by spewing out your anti-war agenda on the INTERNET thinking it would matter and not bother checking your spelling.

A man and a someone's son just got stabbed to death and all I see is "END THE WAR! END THE WAR!"

Good work, I see how your leftist are really are. Nothing but a bunch of heartless, selfish human beings.

People who are against the war (and by the way that includes people from all political parties) have very little they can do about it. No matter who they vote for, their reps do not represent them. They are up against huge companies like halliburton as well as the pentagon. So often there is little else they CAN do to express their frustration.

Oh, and this is too good to pass up:

"with their horrible grammar:"

followed by

" I see how your leftist are really are. Nothing but a bunch of heartless, selfish human beings"

The was has nothing to do with this... god you ignorant people need to seriously rethink what your talking about before you start typing. A man is dead and someone everyone here cares deeply for is in jail. Does this have anything to do with the war? Anything? Anything at all? Exactly. Now go argue about it somewhere else and spin your agenda.

Pvt. Timothy W. Crislip, Jr. was MURDERED! I don't know Mr. Cruise, but could he have beaten him up, pummled him.....anything but slice his neck!

The assailant just killed him....took the life of a 22 year old young man who loved and trusted so easily. His twin sister will now be getting married without her brother there. His younger brother will miss the future years of hanging out with his big brother. His mother mourns and misses him. She had to receive the flag given to her by his Sgt. Yes, Mr. Cruise also destroyed his life, his family, and all who chanced to love him. He did this horrific thing and I am ashamed that this young man was in the same army.
