My thought and prayers are with the family of Pvt Anthony Milo. He was a close friend of my son Pvt Daniel Whitmer who is also stationed at Fort Lee. Please know Daniel is very proud of your son.

Hello Ms. Ericksen,
I am a very close friend of the family. We have been talking about your son since we got this tragic news. We new that he was anthony's best friend there, and would love to keep him as a part of our family. We would love to figure something out to be able to talk to your son as well as you for your warming words. We will continue to check this so some how we can meet in the middle.
A million thanks from all of us here

I myself am a united states soldier. My brother joined the service also and actually met Anthony at Ft Lee. Me and my family including my brother send our condolences to Anthony's family. Even though Anthony's military career was short but he is a hero cuz it takes a special person to do what we do. Put our lives on the line no matter what for our freedom. Thank you Anthony for your service even though i am in the service you help give me freedom :) Love SGT Gonzales, M

I have knwn PVT Milo for many years as I was stationed with his father in Germany. He was a good brother to his siblings and a wonderful son to his parents. My daughter is hurting as she has lost a friend. My thoughts and prayers go to his parents Jim and Pat as well as his brothers and sisters. Anthony will be missed by many.

I did not know where else to go to post my condolences to the family; I hurt with them at the passing of a fine young man who loved his country, and I am so very, very proud of him! May his spirit find peace, and may God bring comfort to the family in time. My prayers are with them all.

Please let me know how we can contact each other. Daniel is trying to be strong, however he is not able to speak to me about this tragedy. He is trying to be strong and continue doing what Anthony and Daniel Loved. He has expressed how hard it is to look up at night and see an empty bunk above him, how hard it was to watch as the lockers were opened, how "Shitty" this all is. I wish others could see the pain these soldiers are going through and quit judging so much. Please give my love to PFC Milo's family. Daniel has also told me about the upcoming service and recognitions PFC Milo is receiving.

Dearest Milos, again I thank you for all your efforts that have become such an everlasting strength for all of us including your son's serving brothers and sisters. The sorrow and anguish we share is only matched by our pride and appreciation of knowing your son and the sacrifice you are forever making. That sacrifice will be now and always a part of us all and that will serve us forever as a standard of strength. We all stand by your side, now and always.
I am a proud yet grieving father of your son too and offer all of my love, support, and prayers, not only from me, but from all of us....thank you.

Your family has grown immensely and we are all honored and strengthened by the sacrifice of Milos and Fountain. Though we feel we have lost a son, Milos and Fountain Co. have gained one!
With all my love as a father and member of your family too.. Thank You!
