We're jumping the gun if we think this is a victory. The military could easily come back in December and, based on their polling mom is it's OK if Johnny takes showers with a raving homosexual who'll not only seduce him but will end up making Johnny his b*tch, say "Oh, according to our results this isn't a good idea."

We're fools if we can't see this polling, the first time in our history our military is suddenly worried about the reaction of their soldiers and families to a policy, is just an excuse to make sure the repeal of DADT doesn't happen.

Yes, if Joe Solmonese releases a breathless notice declaring victory on an issue you know you better take a second look. The guy's a total contrary indicator.

I'm still optimistic in the long run, because if the world collapses and we lurch rightward they'll need a draft to fight all the wars for oil. Ergo, no DADT Don't Pursue.

In fact, why aren't more males declaring they're gay on their required Selective Service registration forms?

Sarvis was NOT some hero in all of this. He was just as incompetent as the rest of them. He too took an enormously bloated salary and had no earthly idea what to do. Like HRC, SLDN has wasted millions of dollars with not much to show for it because it certainly can't claim credit for this "deal" that got DADT finally passed. Where was SLDN's extensive grassroots program? AWOL. Where was SLDN's Veterans Lobby Day? AWOL. Where was SLDN doing much of anything besides "calling" on the prez to do this and that? Sarvis is another insanely overpaid insider who burned too many bridges and so he tried to repaint himself as an outsider.
