If they cannot make a public statement in reference to their granddaughter's death (personally or via the lawyer) WITHOUT mentioning Casey's innocence and pointing fingers to the "real murderer" then I have no respect for them at all. I will no longer listen to anything Cindy and George have to say. I believe they were a part of the problem all along - letting Casey get so out of control and not checking on Caylee's whereabouts well before the 30 or 31 days.

I have been following the story since it happened. I can't believe that little baby had to suffer like that. I have a 3yr old and can't begin to imagine the pain and suffering. No child, no human period deserves what happened. She did nothing wrong. What could she have done that was so bad that she deserved to be treated like that. If the mother is responsible, may GOD have mercy on her. She deserves every sentence thrown at her and she should never get out. Too many women who can't have children dream of having a little one like Caylee, and then something like this happens. I hope her mom gets what she deserves.

I wish the lawyers and everyone would just be quiet for awhile and quit critizing each other. Let's have a moment of peace for this little angel.

Say what you will, G&C have to be hurting like crazy right now. I do wish they would have their attorney make some kind of statement, asking that we respect their privacy, and then grieve in private. I sincerely hope they don't use this opportunity to go on TV and blame the "nanny" or anyone else. That would really destroy any good feeling we may have for them.

Grandparents may mourn, but Casey certainly will not.

Although they are most likely grieving, I still can't help but think that they will continue to argue that their darling Casey could never do anything to harm their grandbaby and still place blame on Zanny the Nanny. I'm really hoping that this news is a wake-up call for them, but have my doubts.

It will be quite interesting to see what they'll do next. Hopefully it's not fundraising for sympathy.

Two armed security guards payed for by who? Take the pictures of CayLEE down. Stop this sham on the public. Shames on the Anthony's and shame on Baez. ALL of you always knew the baby was dead.

I agree. I don't think they're involved, or part of any cover-up. But if they make outlandish claims now that know for sure Caylee is dead, I'll start to question my position.

Now is the time for them to be tough on Casey. They should want REAL ANSWERS from her now. They should let her know the jig is up.

I mean, now that they've got confirmation she's dead, they must know that smell in the car was little Caylee. Which means that Casey has known she's been dead and has been lying this whole time. They can't find excuses for that.

Their attorney seems to have quite a level head--I think he'll be a great asset in helping them get through this and helping them to admit the truth to themselves.

No wonder Casey had no reaction when the small bag of toys and other items was found in the Little Econ River during the Leonard Padilla search. She knew they didn't belong to Caylee. If she has any emotional reaction now, it's only due to the fact that she is done and she knows it. Casey is truly an idiot amongst many other more ugly, heinous things. She took away the life of a precious, innocent baby and RUINED many, many other lives including her own. If she did not want Caylee, then she should have given her mother full custody!!!!! But who knows? Cindy may have insisted she keep her and take care of her. But SHE (Casey) committed this horrible crime. Nobody can convince otherwise. In this case, the innocent until proven guilty does not fly with me. Caylee can now rest in peace and I'm sure she's very happy now because she's in a wonderful place.

<quoted text>
Oh, please. You have no PROOF they aided an abetted. That's your opinion, not a fact.

As I've said before, all of their actions can be explained by psychology.

For a mind DEEP in denial, it is easier to believe all your daughter's lies than it is to believe your precious grandbaby is dead.

I don't mean to be rude, but really I think you seem more like the idiot here.

That was my point. I would never want to be in their position -what a horror, what a nightmare. BUT, they have sacrificed the love and memory they had for their granddaughter to defend the lying, immoral, selfish daughter they created.

How in the world could they go even TWO days without checking on Caylee knowing Casey's narcisstic/self-destructive tendancies?

Casey is adept at lying and so is Cindy -where do you think she learned this skill?

They didn't look for Caylee for THIRY ONE DAYS?????

P L E A S E, they knew that baby was dead. They will probably come up with some other BS.
