Are you sure.
You are quite the idiot to make fun of this situation.

Until you have kids, you can make comments, however, no one thinks it will happen to them and peer pressure is so strong. She sounds like she was a good kid who made a wrong choice.

Our prayers for her family and friends.

She was an extremely smart kid with a great attitude towards life, and yes she was an A student in honor roll classes.

She will be sorely missed by all those that knew her.
The world is less today without her.

I was a good friend of Ashleys, Ive known her since 3rd grade. She was an excellent student then and continued to be. She brought enjoyment to all with her laugh and smile. You would never think if you saw her that something this tragic could happen to her. She was only 16 but we know she will be forever in our hearts. I love her and please keep her and her family in your prayers.
Your truly missed by all Ash R.I.P

Where did she get the alcohol? She made a poor choice yes, but so did the people who left the alcohol were kids could drink it. Where was the supervision?
If it turns out that she got it at someones house, I hope they are held accountable in some way.
This story scares me. As a mother to a soon to be high school honor student, I pray that my daughter is as smart in life as she is in school and that she can say no when pressured by peers.

She was and always will be the most beautiful and precious princess in my eyes. I mourn as I write this because she is the world to us and will always be in our hearts and mind. We love you Ashley.

could be to blame for selling whatever they can to whomever they can.

While to medical report will reveal the cause of death, even if this was not the cause..these students were consuming products that have caused untold horrors to those who do not control how much and what they consume, and made profits off the misery and heartache they cause.

If it turns out this was a lethal combination, these 'energy' drinks should be pulled from the market - they are DANGEROUS. Chemicals should not be sold as drinks.

Sad. Much too young to die. May God bless Ashley and her family. She was a good youth taken too soon.

If god was blessing anyone, this would be a strange way to show it?? Why do people always ask god for help after he killed someone?? Seems the dude up there ain't there at all!!

What the hell is your problem? Just shut your damn mouth, you didn't know her and that's not funny. Go seek attention somewhere else, no one wants your unnecessary comments here.

I'm sure being sixteen, taking a depressant (alcohol) with liquid speed might have had something to do with it.

A combination of alcohol and energy drinks will usually not kill a person, unless there is a physical abnormality. I think after the autopsy report the blame for this young girl's death will be pointed in all directions.

My heart goes out to the parents and I only hope a lesson can be learned so we can save some kids in the future. This country's attitudes about drugs and alcohol are killing our children. We are all to blame. Larry G

Having worked with Ashley's mom, I can tell you that Ashley was a wonderful young lady with an extremely protective mother. If you are a parent, don't be a hypocrite and ask "where were her parents?" Believe me, her parents are extremely responsible citizens. Kids lie to their parents; Ashley was an example of the type of child that any parent would be lucky to have...she was perfect in every way. This tragedy is a reflection on teen culture and peer pressure, not on Ashley's parents.

We all lie to our parents sometimes, and this lie proved to be fatal for Ashley, who otherwise did everything right. My heart goes out to her family, and my hope is that her friends will learn from her unjust death. This was a girl that would have made our world a better place.
