Joe wrote: Champ, get your facts right. The Giants play a home game in Giants Stadium against the Jets. So with one neutral site home game (half of Giants stadium will be blue, half green for that game) and one neutral site away game (Dolphins) the Giants aren't getting away with anything. Like I told him earlier in this forum he should be pissed that the Jets basically got an extra home game out of it...they are in the same division as Miami not the Giants

I remember turning on my black and white tv in my bedroom as a kid in Ireland (i know black and white!!). On it was a game I'd never seen before but I was hooked. The first team I saw was the Miami Dolphins and being that I lived in Dolphins Barn, that was it they were my team. The year was 1983. I remember not being allowed to stay up for the superbowl, but having to wait until the next day to see it. I was in tears when they lost. Don't worry there's always next year my Dad said, and I've been saying it ever since. I am a phins fan through and through.

The nfc east has to be getting disgusted w/the nfls scheduling favortism toward the giants!!A couple yrs back they were rewarded w/an extra hm.game(result, squeek into the postseason)!!And now in"07"they get 2"away games",that really don't allow the opposing team,a distinct hm. field advantage!!I have to wonder,is Eli really so bad, that Archie has to negotiate the nfl schedules too?? GOOOOOAAAAAAAHHHHH BRITFINS!!!Show the persuadable what noise can be made, when all are singing the same tune!! I have no doubt,it will be the loudest Dolphins hm.game in many yrs!!GO FINS!!!!!!!!!!

I have to say one thing....at least Dave Hyde wrote a second article, gave us UK fans a voice and attempted to right the wrongs of his first article. How many journalists would even attempt to eat humble pie in the UK? I suppose, at the end of the day, it got us Fins fans on both sides of the Atlantic talking, so for Dave Hyde, it's been mission accomplished!

well said Doug Adamson. i'm a local dolphin fan, and i think the local fan base sucks. your right...1/4 of the fans do leave the game at the end of the 3rd quarter. i'm a season ticket holder that is bumbed about losing a home game, but now i know the phins will be properly supported.

I hope the Brits are better fans than the few ticket holders who only show up well into the 2nd quarter and then rush home mid-way through the 3rd... Go Phins!

Whilst I sympathise with the Dolfans losing a home game to the advantage of us Brits, someone suggested that the US should take an English Premier League football fixture. C'est la vie, bottom line we'd get on with it, in fact you'd probably see quite a few of us Brits make the journey over, much like I'm expecting and looking forward to meeting many of you US native Dolfans in October. Some have you have a very negative vision of both us Brits and our fine country, and hopefully, come October after experiencing the commeradery and hospitallity of your UK dolfan compatriots your opinions of us will change, and the only benefactors....The Miami Dolphins, The NFL and the army of both US and UK Dolfans.

I was in London 2 years ago and actually met Dolphins fans there. I am proud that our team has an International appeal, though it sucks to lose a home game.

Maybe the Dolphins might just get lucky and Mr. Culpepper will miss the plane ride home and stay over sea. That would be so nice

feel sorry for the Britsih fans or US srvice fans. To watch college you had to watch it at 2-4 am in the morning? My first was LSU vs Arkansa? scouting for defense for Miami only came up with Brain kinchen the only time I got one except this year. I got Beck right one pick away form Kalli. 3 players I wanted for the second round. The other was Wilson CB.

What??? Hyde, you're WRONG...and so was everybody else who gave the answer you did, and none of the 94 guys commenting on your article caught your glaring gaff either! Here is what you said:
Q: Who did Dan Marino succeed as quarterback?
Easy one. David Woodley. All were correct.
NO!!! Marino did NOT succeed Woodley!!! He succeeded DavidDon WoodStrock!!! And you guys call yourselves Phin fans????:)
Scott
I root for Miami and anybody that plays the Jets or the Crimson Tide!

Heard of the Marlins??? I have been to Miami from UK 12 times in last 20 years to see Dolphins, Marlins, Heat, Panthers, Canes and NASCAR plus 2 SuperBowls and will be there again in November to see Dolphins, Heat, Panthers and NASCAR. So I know all the detail of all the teams and will now get to see 2 Dolphins 'Home' games in a row, with the Wembley game and then the Bills game at Dolphin Stadium!! Can't wait!!
