Last I checked, the "trio" doesn't run, pass, block, tackle or catch.
The Jets had a good offense last year, they have the same O-line and running game and have added Greene. Their receivers have another year of experience. Their defense is greatly improved. They may have a franchise QB in the wings and Clemens will do well with a good O-line. Don't forget that he beat out Pennington.
Last season is no indication of what you will do last year as most Dolphin players had career years.
This year the Dolphins have a tough schedule and Pennington never has back to back good years. That's why every other year he wins comeback player of the year.
Truth be told, you have no idea about the Jets or Dolphins chances for 2009. So how can you honestly say the Jets will be bad and the Dolphins good?

pennington is in a zone, do you know after every practice he has a voluntary meeting up to 3 hrs long!! qb and rec's only, and has a 100% attendence rate!!!
as for strenth of schedule it mean's nothing!!! we play in a division, we compete against 3 other teams for that crown, all 4 of us play similar sch's!! s.o.s. mia #1 ne #3 buff #6 ny #7
all similar it means absolutley nothing!!!!!!

The scary part for you is you're relying on Pennington. been there done that. What has Henne ever done?

I think that if Sanchez wins the job he'll be fine, otherwise I feel taht Clemens will be fine. Remember the Jets will be a running team

Last season the Dolphins had no players with on field experience and a rookie HC. They finished 11-5. Sparano was up against Belicheat and the Mangenius. Your comparisons are strange considering it's YOUR OWN team that did well under this scenario.

At least the Jets WRs have been in the system for a few years now, and tey know the playbook.

what was i comparing??? i was saying you cannot take a qb and rec's that have never played together in real time game action and expect them to compete! ryan will try to run the ball, opposing teams will stop that run! make them pass! that's where they make you play to your weakness! ive noticed one thing, you talk about the jet's like they won the division!!! like they are better than the team that actually beat them out last year!! and won the afc east!! i'm wondering how long it has been since the jet's won the division!!!!

On another subject, has anyone noticed that Sun Sentinal storys do not have the comments box after them anymore? Does anyone know what happened to them, and why they stopped?

bravphin unfortunatley Sun-Sentinel has moved to a registration-required forum system. Topix has merged the old Sun-Sentinel forum into Fort Lauderdale and fin forum, the ronnie brown story came from bleacher report not ss!! i guess they will feed us fin topic's through other sources, so far 2 came up!! i really believe it's a matter of time before we are up and running again! all ready a couple of us managed our way here all we can do is continue to post and hope the rest will find us!!

It doesn't mean that Sanchez should start from the first game on. Most QBs are brought along slowly. Clemens knows the offense and has game experience. Remember 40-13 Jets beat Dolphins? LOL
