Rain out: Florida Marlins beat Washington Nationals 7-5 in rain...

Full story: South Florida Sun-Sentinel

Taking the lead in his personal grand slam competition with Cody Ross would have been nice, but Hanley Ramirez gladly accepted an opposite-field single to right.

Nice to see Hanley staying hot this long. I like the way things are coming together. We still have a ways to go yet. Fredi has to come up with a closer. Lindstrom's fastball doesn't get it, he has to develop a nice change and slider. Leo Nunez has to calm down a little and just pitch the way he knows how and not get overwhelmed or star struck like when he played some of the inter-league teams. Go Marlins!

And they beat a minor league team with less than low college level pitching. ariba Ariba Ariba/ Los muchacha nados. All 134 fans were delirious. And the nerd-geek TV crew gets worse by the game.

Agree with that comment. How many balls hit did he stretch out and dive to try and keep the ball in the infield, which would have prevented some runs.

He has amazing talent, just lazy.

And nice to see Fredi pinch hit for Hermida. HE HAS GOT TO GO. Awful. Period.

Looking at today's starting lineup I see Hermida instead of Carroll. How much longer does Uggla get a pass batting in the 220's?

Hanley was injured so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt on running the bases. But he's got speed and his defense has improved plus he plays one one of the toughest positions in the field. He's also been a great clutch hitter this year. When you're talking about the best in baseball Hanley's definitely in the conversation.

Okay us Floridians shall do what we do best.

Which is:

End the Mets season 2 years in a row?

End the Jets season last year

Take two out of the 3 from the Yankees

Beat the Yankees in the 03' series

Win as many world series as the Mets in only 1 decade?

OKAY we will.

The choke of 07 will never happen again! THE AMAZINS will once again climb to glory! Hey, even the Minor league team Manny was playing for averaged more fans than the Marlins did (LOL). Pathetic!

Also you have shown you can:

Lose the 2009 NBA Finals

Lose the 2008 World Series

Make Orange Juice

Complain about today's youth

Also, OOBODY CAREZ ABOUT THE YANKEES!!!!! THEY STINK LIKE MONKEY!

METS HAVE MORE WS TITLES THAN ANY OTHER NL TEAM TOO!!! LOL!
