Actually, it's not. Many states have laws stating that anyone convicted of a felony can NEVER legally own a gun, as it should be. Oh, and please post the name of your company. I would certainly NEVER want to hire a company of criminals to work in my home.
Oh, please give me your name and address. I would certainly NEVER do any work for a selfish prick who can't give someone a second chance.

Sorry, I don't give my name and address to criminals. And you'd work for anyone who would pay you, and likely steal from them while you're there. That's why most people won't hire criminals, they've proven themselves to not be trustworthy.

Three Felonies A Day: Harvey A. Silverglate
The average professional in this country wakes up in the mooring, goes to work, comes home, eats dinner, and then goes to sleep, unaware that he or she has likely committed several federal crimes that day. We are, The USA, the most legislated nation on the planet. We have more laws and consequently more people in prison, more felons, in fact we have 4% of the worlds population and 25% of the worlds prison population. If you are not a felon it is just because you are lucky or politically connected or wealthy enough to hire smart lawyers.

If empirical evidence and statistical facts are as you say "utter nonsense" then I guess ignorance is bliss.

I can't speak for anyone else but in my case it is luck. I definitely don't have the other two qualifications.

you are an idiot. You can not tell me you have never committed a crime.... even unknowingly. On average every person commits at least 3.4 criminal acts a day unknowingly. Just because you haven't been convicted it doesn't mean you aren't a criminal

2nd amendment" the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed, that means you cannot take away a citizens right to bears arms in defense for his life, felons are still citizens, felons have served their time, or they would still be In jail, you can't be half ass about this amendment, and take out the parts you don't like, besides that, theirs not much to take out look up the word infringe, and I'm sure the founding fathers took into consideration that the world changes, and with that technology, and they knew something about power hungry dictators, that make up bogus laws to inslaveing the people to strip away there persuit of life, liberty, and happiness. I would go on but if you don't get it yet, your just dumb and getting dumber all the time.

i am a felon now for a self defense I was assaulted and I got the best of my asaliant and was charged by the local police because they said I became the agressure even tho my asaliant was high on pills and drunk so he kept on coming at me. Now I cann't vote or own a firearm. Because I was assaulted. I was a law abiding citizen all the way up to that point. And now that I have done my time and paid my restotion I will still not be aloud because is was $2,000.00. So tell me how that is fair. Plus it you have a black powder make sure it is truly retro meaning old school sights DO NOT USE A SCOPE OR FIBER OPTICS a man abided by the law and was still charged because of the FIBER OPTIC SIGHTS. Best bet get a bow or cross bow you will be safe than getting 3 plus years depending on the cop prosecutor and judge

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Every criminal in the country claims to be innocent. Given the above post, you're just too dumb and uneducated to be allowed to vote or have a gun. Two words-remedial English.

It's not just the ones that claim to be innocent. It's also the ones that blame someone else on the bad choices they made.

Criminals will just import those illegal. Just like they do for drugs. Keeping them out of law abiding citizens / pardoned felon hands just give the advantage to them. Plus our founding fathers intended us the be armed to defend ourselves and our families and in case our government becomes tyrannical we can change our leadership by any means necessary.

Should we keep matches and condoms off the streets cause arson and rape can occur?

A felon is a felon.....Police and innocent victims are being killed because of the right to bear arms. Someone tell me what an AR15, M16, AK 47, MP5 and so forth were intended to be used for.....War is the answer.
I admit there is a war on our streets between the police and law abiding citizens and the criminal element. We cant win unless our legislators help us. The Rifle Association is a great orginization but their money fuels the legislation that allows the criminals/felons to get their hands on these murderous weapons.

All I can say is half of you have your heads up your asses... I am a convicted felon from when I was 19 years old. I got caught up with the wrong crowd and damaged a car, that's it. Anyone who says a felon is a crackpot or a loser is in fact a loser themselves. You are so quick to judge but yet I have more than half of you probably have. I am only 30 and have owned 4 homes, a restaurant and 6 cars. Now I own a company that produces sauces sold in Wal-mart, Publix and Whole Foods Market. Most of you are probably twice my age and have accomplished half of what I have. I am a million dollar man yet cannot own a gun legally in the state of Florida because of ignorance like this. I have turned into a very successful individual and am one of many that have done so. Anyone who says once a felon always a felon is an idiot. I hope one day some of you will wake up and realize just cause you made a mistake as a child does not mean you will always make mistakes or commit crimes.
