Gee, what a surprise. Last night a few going 80-90 shot past me in a race as I was headed eastbound on 595. Hopefully they don't take any innocent drivers with them on their way to a morgue.

Must have been squids on their crotch rockets. We had a good one in the county this evening where the squid hit a pickup truck according to witnesses. The squid was taken to Ryder Trauma and the pick up driver took off.
ROOT CAUSE: people on crotch rockets driving recklessly while not wearing a helmet.

I'm sure speed had nothing to do with it. Helicopters? What a waste of money. Everytime somebody buys one of those crotch-rockets, they should pay a special fee to cover for future sure-to-come expenses because sooner or later they all crash.

Well, looks like another Mohawk, RR, neon lighted dead motorcyclist scraped of the street again. When will these DOOSHES learn???? It's almost IMPOSSIBLE to see them when they blow past you doing 150 when your doing 60-70!

It's people like these guys (assuming it was a high speed, careless multiple-motorcycle accident here..) that give the REST of us SAFE MOTORCYCLE RIDERS a bad name. We quit riding our 'crotch rockets' on the street because of how dangerous it is and the stigma that is associated with it. Some of us are careful, do use caution, and wear all of our gear, you know.

That's right. The 'typical' crotch rocket rider is known as 'road kill'.

I was at the crash. It wasn't the motorcyclists fault. two cars were racing and one spun out of control and fishtailed across the lanes. when the car was sideways my friend hit the side of it. fucking people in cars need to learn how to drive more than the motorcyclists do.

and he was wearing his gear. jacket/helmet/boots. just no gloves. it was no his fault. the car that he ran into was sideways on 95. he locked up as fast as he could and layed the bike down. there was nothing else he could do. always people in cars screwing us up.

You write a better 'story' than the S-S, especially the part about the impacted car that ISN'T in the S-S version or mentioned by the FHP.
Maybe it's got a "Stealth" paint job and it was difficult to see.

well considering i ride with the kid every week and was riding with him last night and was there with the crash, i should know the story. the car he hit actually fled the scene and turned herself in today. female driver, in a rental car, with a suspended license. go figure. he broke his femur, hurt lung, and something else. havent gotten the full details yet. and there was actually another biker that went down in the crash as well. she was hurt too bad. only a few scrapes.
