I'm thankful this woman immediately reported what she found, and that Gorton's is doing everything it can to stop the consumption of fish from the same shipment. Gorton's has been a reputable company, and I'm sure they will stop at nothing to find out who put pills into their fish.

With fish imported from foreign countries, there is less quality-control as to what is in it and arrives with it. Don't the people of Thailand and Vietnam bathe in the very waters the fish is caught in? YUCK! No thank you!

I prefer the fish caught in the cold waters right off the coast of New England, and stimulating the economy by jobs provided to our own citizens trying to support their families.

Any good company can have a stupid or disgruntled employee somewhere along the line (in any type or form of business), and it could be as simple as a line worker not getting a promotion, so he or she takes out their anger in this form. Should you blame the whole oompany (for something unforseen) or just the disgruntled employee?

You're right. I posted without thinking. I'm a vegetarian and think frozen fish sticks are gross anyway.
