Lauderdale woman's $300M award in tobacco case tossed
A state appellate court ruled Wednesday that a new jury should decide how much in damages to award a Fort Lauderdale woman who had won a whopping $300 million verdict against tobacco giant Philip Morris.

These tobacco companies need to be held responsible for there addicting product that kills so many people everyday that just can't stop this addicting drug,but I think the settlement was just a bit too much.Sometimes the jury will award these types of settlements just to set an example!
