When things like this happen police move it to another channel. I didn't think certain channels were accessible by people using scanners.

Good to hear they have the suspects in custody, good thing I am not a cop..I would have put two in his head. My respect to the CSPD. I know the chief, gonna ask him about his kid on this thread.

Boca sees something like this about once every week, Coral Springs has something like this about once or twice every year. You aren't bound to hear about it as much in Boca because it's so common, despite it's sparkly image. All about perception, buddy.
Oh - cut the crap- Coral Spring is just like any other city in the Ft Lauderdale area such as Lauderhill, Sunrise, Tamarac, North Lauderdale, Plantation-

Bad things happen all the time but when it is in Lauderhill, Lauderdale Lakes, Sunrise or the like people start with their nasty comments....

I live in the area across Ramblewood off 16th street, there are 2 helicopters circling and a whole lot of gunfire, sounds like to the east of us
BSO helicopter was up and when it had 40 minutes of fuel left they called in Palm Beach Sheriffs Office. So thats where the 2nd copter came from.

seems like people think this is a joke.
several of my friends were trapped in their home. We are still waiting to hear who the hostages were- possibly friends.
No matter where this happens it is scary- and it's no joke.

Something is very strange with the media reports. All suspects in custody. Helicopters still circling, police still everywhere and the somebody unloaded about 300 rounds into something.

you all sound like retards to me...i moved out here to coral springs to get away from the AK/chase/shootouts of miami and look whats freaking happening blocks away from my house....****?! hope the officer is ok btw
OK, then go back to Miami. If it were Miami then the cops would have never chased the perps for a robbery in the first place.

I also used to live in Dade County and if there's no dead body then the cops don't much care about anything. Of-course if it's one of their own they'll go all out but a car chase for some podunk auto parts store robbery? Nah, not worth it.

if everyone has been caught... what are they searching for?? Seems fishy to me! The helicopters are still hovering and the area is still locked down.
I hope everyone is okay
