Remember the fake spike you ugly green pieces of manuer. Yep, it was a thing of beauty. Along with that big fat jets fan in the upper deck who got the crap beat out of them...which i got to see first hand when I was 11 years old at Joe Robbie(the original name).
They should call jets games the rumble in the stands...anyone have thoughts on a good name?

He DOESN'T know, nor do I, you, or RANDY MUELLER! I hear Jhary's point loud and clear: why did we just give this guy an extension without seeing the results of his first ever draft as a Miami Dolphin?! You let the season unfold and THEN decide if the guy has merited a contract extension. I can't recall offhand, but I hope we didn't do the same thing for the fool Rick Spielman!!! You know what I mean!

Sorry, Jhary! I've just never been sold on Spielman. The day he (or maybe it was Whinestench afterall) sent a #2 for AJ Feeley was the day I said enough is enough of the guy. At least I think we both agree (as usual) on Whinestench being a TOTAL failure!

We now have the choice to keep him or can him. If we didn’t sign him we have a chance to lose him especially if he turns out to be a genius; now it is in our power to control the situation, good or bad.

Oh, make no mistake about it, I was never sold on Rick either...I just would have liked to have seen what he could have done without Wanny messing things up for him. I think it was Spielman who pulled the tigger on Feeley, but in all fairness to AJ, and every other QB we've had since Dan, our offensive line is the real problem...AJ sure didn't have any problems playing well in Philly, 1st or 2nd time around, did he??? Sure does make a BIG difference for a QB having a LT and a RT that are both pro bowlers, don't it???

<quoted text>What about the 2nd rounder for A.J. Feely. Or trading away Adewale Ogunleye? Or acquiring David Boston? The list goes on & on.
What line has AJ, or any other QB since Dannyboy for that matter, had to play behind here in Miami??? AJ has Thomas and Runyon in Philly...that's 2 pro bowlers there...and a solid interior 3 too...they protect him well, and he put up good numbers in there. Brian Greise was a pro bowl QB in Denver...he comes here, and he sucks...was it him, or our pathetic excuse for a line??? What has Ogun done since he left us??? He's getting paid major coin but only averaging 7 sacks a year for the Bears...he averaged 12.5 a year when he started for us. Ogun was a product of JT...he's not an elite DE or worth anywhere near the money Chicago paid for him. We got Marty Booker and a 3rd round pick for him which we used on Crowder...as of right now, we're definately on the plus side of that deal big time in my book. What was wrong with the Boston deal??? We used a 6th round pick on a 2 time pro bowler, renegotiated his contract and paid him peanuts the whole time he was here...it's not Rick's fault the guy got hurt. Injuries are just bad luck. We gambled and lost, be we didn't gamble with very much...we had everything to gain and very little to lose. No GM hits on EVERYTHING they do. I think using the #2 overall pick in the draft on Rick Mirer is MUCH worse than any blunders Wanny or Spielman made...and Mueller followed that gem pick up with Dan McGwire and Brian Bosworth too. Wann/Speil made plenty of mistakes, but none of them were as bad as any of those...ok, the 2 1sts and 4th swap for Ricky was pretty bad, but we did get 2 pro bowl seasons out of Ricky FIRST before that deal went south. Now how much different would our fortunes have been if we had taken the guys Speilman wanted (Brees, Boldin, and Green) over Wanny's blunders (Fletcher, Moore, and Fiedler)?

<quoted text>Green can read a defense & get rid of the ball quickly unlike “DC”.
DC has NEVER completed less than 60% of his passes in his entire carreer, EVER. Even playing behind the worst line in his life last year, he STILL completed over 60% of his passes. He's a 3 time pro bowler, and he currently is ranked 6th all time in QBR in all of NFL history. You don't post those kinds of numbers if you can't read defenses.

<quoted text>Cam knows the O-line is a work in progress, we need a sharp pocket QB who stays put (easier to block for), not a scrambler who relies on his arm and legs(not his brain).“DC” is a poor fit for what Cam is trying to accomplish.
DC is a pocket passer as well...that's the Scott Linehan offense...always has been. DC just HAS the ability to make big plays with his legs as well, and when the protection breaks down, and it does, he can get away from it. Green is 37 years old, has vastly less mobility than even a wounded DC currently has, and he's one more concussion from retirement...he's playing behind a work in progress line. I don't think it will be very long before Green wishes he could wake up to find the Good Witch of the North sent him back home to Kansas too...

No matter what happens, we have to pay DC $5.5 mil this year. Green had the exact same triple ligament knee injury DC had...the big differences between the two is that DC is already a proven 3 time pro bowler, while Green had never played in a pro bowl and only had ONE good season in Washington prior to his injury. Green took TWO years to come back, while DC rushed back and was out on the field in 9 months. We should keep DC, put him on PUP to start the season if we have to, and then put him on IR if it comes to that, and get those 4 or 5 more pro bowl 4K+ yard seasons he has left in him down the road like KC got out of Green...we gotta pay the man anyway, so just keep him and let him heal. THEN see what he can do. I think it's stupid to have given up a 2nd rounder on a proven player, pay him millions, only to cut him before you ever give him a chance to play healthy for your team. It's incredibly short sighted. I'll tell you this much, if the worst case scenario happens: we go 4-12, Ginn turns out to be just the guy I think he is, STer only, lousy WR, Green gets knocked out, Beck gets in and plays awful, Quinn has a good year in Cleveland, and DC goes on to play well elsewhere next year, Cowher will be our HC in 08...you can carve that one in stone too. Of course, I don't think that will actually happen, as I think Quinn will be a bust, and even if Green goes down, Lemon will get the nod, not Beck. Because our line is so bad, I think we'll be a 4-12 to 6-10 team again, but Cam will get another year.
