Well Blizzard is a big part of the Problem - because they have made costs for Epic flyers so out of reach (5000g) which is crazy when you consider the average reward for a 70lvl "Daily" is 11g - Do the math! Also, if you PVP for gear the points you have to earn require 100-150 hours of playtime to earn the 85,000 plus points needed for a full set of armor. Each Battleground gives you 500points and that if you win... Oh yes - dont forget you need ALL the tokens from ALL the different Battlegrounds. So if Blizzard would reduce the time and cost needed to get epic flyers and pvp gear then people who DONT have hours to spend playing could stop buying gold. AND it was mentioned skill played a part in getting gear - actually it doesn't take any skill you just need to SPEND more time playing which is what Blizzard wants - you SPENDING more time on their game.

That's hilarious. I'm not sure exactly what he expects the law suit to do. Buying gold online with real money is already againt the terms of use agreement that Wold of Warcraft puts out. So what exactly does he expect Blizzard to do? They've already taken several measures to try to stop or slow down the ability for farmers to make real money off the game. Seems like kind of a useless venture to sue Blizzard for it to me. Unless he's just hoping for some money settlement in which case he would be worse then the gold farmers. IMHO

Ok he's suing the virtual gold company I missed that part. Understandable but still, what can the judge do with companies over seas. Sure maybe you can ban in here in the states but then that would just make more money for the ones over seas. I say keep the jobs here in america.*el oh el*

These gold farming companies do things like keylog players and steal their gold or items that they happen to have access to. It only takes one officer of a raiding guild with bank access getting keylogged to get away with thousands of dollars worth of gold.

6000g of assets were taken from my guild bank by a gold farming company just the other day.

While I do not have rights to the items stolen, I do undergo pain and suffering, as do my guildmates. I am entitled to have my doctors bills and my anxiety medication paid for by the company that is paying the keylogging thief to do these things.

So if you win can you come sue trade-4-game as well? Getting pretty tired of them in EQ2 and all the spam they send out all the time. SOE implemented some great spam filters but those chinese bots seem to get past em every once in a while...

dude. don't clog up the justice system over some stupid lawsuit. if people have the money to buy gold. so be it. just get over it. instead of wasting your money on some stupid lawsuits, why don't you finance legal representation to some poor soul who's about to go to jail over something he didnt do simply simply because he doesn't have a decent attorney???
