Val: "Why do I have to spend my hard earned tax dollars and expose my kids to YOUR sex offender? No one who lives in Florida would advocate what you are saying..."

But 2500 feet won't kick them out of Florida. And I agree states ought to have to keep their own sex offenders. Nobody wants them why should one state have to take more than their homegrown ones just because it's a warm state. I agree. But 2500 feet won't solve the problem.

"dont come to me with residency restriction arguments...come to me with help getting rid of my bad guys not opening more doors for them."

I WANT to help you get rid of your bad guys, that's what I've been trying to tell you!! But I don't think 2500 feet will solve the problem, they'll be more to come and more and more unless we make the state keep them in prison. If you want to get rid of them you're going to have to help the state understand that it needs better waste management techniques. 2500 feet is a temporary bandaid and the waste just keeps leaking out.

This is going to take stiff penalties with mandatory penalties that no wrist slapping do-gooder apologist can interfere with. Now, I understand that you're adamant, I understand why and I'm totally sympathetic to what you're going through. However, this is going to keep coming up and keep coming up until it's properly fixed. Don't keep pushing them out on OTHER people who don't want them either. Just go ahead and step up to the plate and let's get it fixed once and for all where NOBODY has to deal with it or them again.

"Maybe one day enough people take who ever was responsible for letting this guy out to FEED again in my state and hang their balls to the wall, maybe some of you Law Enforcement will finally do your jobs?"

I'll be the first one to join you in the ball nailing festivities. I agree with that completely. It's not necessarily law enforcement though that "lets them out to feed again" it's our screwed up system that cares more for the rights of the pedovores than they do their victims.

"I am angry in case you cant tell, I am angry Dp1 and Stitches would try and lay a guilt trip on me about forcing offenders into THIER NEIGHBORHOODS.."

I'm not trying to lay a guilt trip on you but why shouldn't I be upset if you want to push your imported offenders into my space? I'm not saying you shouldn't be angry, I'd be mad as hell if I were you, but I DONT WANT THEM EITHER. So we have to SOLVE the problem. They have to be somewhere, and I'm worried about victims EVERYWHERE. So tell me why I should support just Val getting to be free of them when they'll go somewhere else and reoffend with some OTHER residents? Convince me that you shouldn't have to take them but someone else should?

You can't! Therefore the solution isn't to banish them from your zipcode. The solution is to keep them incarcerated where they can't hurt any victim in ANY zipcode.

Pop Quiz!

Who said:

"What red blooded American would stick up for a sex offender? And, what Arian blooded Nazi would stick up for a Jew? If you think there is a difference, then think again. Are you thinking for yourself, or letting the media tell you what to think? If you think that sex offenders have little control over their behavior, then that is the TV thinking for you, and it is nonsense. Less than 12% of convicted sex offenders are repeat offenders. The reason you hear rates like 90% is because of the way the media uses statistics to get you to watch. Nobody would care if only 12% are repeating offenders, so instead the media reports that 90% of sex crimes are committed by repeat offenders. Which sounds more shocking?"

Kiokwus:

"When in fact, not one of these laws etc has done as intended "save a single child""

That is not a fact. That is sex offender propaganda.

Nor can you prove that statement.

Kiokwus:

"If a person does great harm to any child, the laws are designed to take care of that problem. Don't like the laws, change them."

That's what we're doing. Changing the law so that wrist slapping judges can't let child molesters walk with minimal punishment. We ARE trying to change the laws so that they WILL be designed to "take care of that problem". Problems like multi-daughter molesters.

"If a person, you keep throwing out names, is as bad as you say, they should not see light for a long time if ever. But unfortunately, the laws as written do allow them to see light again."

That's right. That's what I've been advocating for on the past 24 pages. Making sure they never see the light of day again and rewriting the laws to remove the loopholes.

"I have fought, been on TV more than once, gone to stand in front of the public, more than once, to protest the unfairness of the laws. I get ridicule and bad mouthed for my beliefs."

LMAO!! Yeah I have some of those videos. I'll upload them and give a link so everybody can share in your ahem "pride"

"At least I can say who I am and be proud of it. Can you do the same? "

Sure can. I'm Stitches of the Seventy and Seven. And hey guess what? I didn't even have to sexually assault a child to be proud of it either.

Look at the comment about the sex offender moving into the abandon boat. OMG! Hilarious. Miami has certainly made an impact around the world with their unique sex offender management policy.

'And you cannot show a single instance where a single child was saved......"

And yet, it was YOU who claimed a FACT that you can't prove, not I.

Get real.

"If you think I've committed a crime you are welcome to do your job. But if I am obeying the law and giving no rise for concern from anyone, then I don't expect a squad car in my driveway or any visit from the police unless they are explicitly invited or it is an emergency. Don't get me wrong, my words are strong only because I feel my grievance is strong.

I appreciate the police and the role you serve in our society. But it is well know that law enforcement tends to overstep its bounds, and I think this is clearly one of those cases. The State has given you no athority to excersize these harrasing tactics. People in our communities must be continously reminded, it's not about criminal rights taking precendence over victims rights, the truth is if the offenders have not rights, then nobody does!"

What do you think about that statement?

Answer the question.

Or, are you afraid to?

But they are going to get out of prison, its a gimme, and when they do we are back to square one..they have to find a place to live, some will have supervision, most will not. and round and round we go. We have laws mandating certain time for certain crimes, we cant even get that right!

The system dumps them back on us and we are suppose to deal with it. Reading a police blog on any given Friday night is a real eye opener down here..cant even pronounce their names..

Illegal alien rapes 99-year-old woman, 81-year-old woman
An illegal alien been denied bond for a horrific and heinous crime against two elderly women, ages 99- and 81-years old. Jose Corrales, 33, is charged with two counts of sexual battery, two counts of kidnapping and two counts of occupied burglary with battery. The first incident occurred on June 22nd, when Corrales, an illegal alien working as a roofer, spotted the 99-year old woman while she was taking out her trash. Police say he had a brief conversation with her then followed her back to the front door and forced his way in. The frail 99-year old woman attempted to fight back but was simply overpowered. Police say he pushed her to the ground with such force, that her dentures flew across the room. She pleaded for her life as she was slapped and punched in the stomach, face, legs, arms and back.. Eventually, she was grabbed by the neck and dragged into her bedroom where, police say, Corrales forced her to perform oral sex. The second incident took place two months later on August 24th. The victim in this case was an 81-year old handicapped woman with limited mobility. She was sitting inside her home when Corrales stood at her doorway, commented how hot it was outside and removed his shirt. Speaking in Spanish, the 81-year-old woman said how she did not lock her door in time, and he made his way inside and forced her to perform oral sex.-

From what I'm hearing about the task force is that they agree on scaling back the 2,500 foot rule, yet Ron Book is still running around trying to push a 1,750 foot rule. Is he still pulling numbers out of his ass? How did he derive at that?

Any word on how they are progressing with the anti-loitering and anti-clustering clause?

Well I see Ron Book and the Department of corrections have no love lost for each other. He agrees with me on many issues of the Department. He was a guest on Talk Radio (Mary) and whats his name, had him as guest speaker. I got to ask him a couple of questions regarding the illegal aspect of the problem and the interstate compact laws and thought we should get some figures on these aspects before we seriously tackle any more compromises from the citizens. He seems to maintain a 1750 to 2250 footage give or take 50 feet and the anti-loitering laws. I also expressed my feelings on the "romeo" aspect. Its humorous to read the chat that corresponds with the radio show. Jeez its no wonder most of these guys have a collar around their neck. They cant even recognize when someone is actually suggesting we look at other pertinent information when making considerations, Mary got her payback from me tonight for the crap she laid out a couple of shows ago..That woman will learn to tell the truth someday. It was all very interesting but at the end of the day, it was reduced to commentary after Ron Book signed off that he was a jerk and his underlying motives were his daughters assault. DAAAA and of course "Valigator" had to embarrass Mary..but it was all good. I feel better about Ron Book's proposal's although you wont like them Dp1, but I am inclined to think he might get some real numbers and real data on the other things, hey it might not be as big of a problem as I think, but the one thing I "know" is these issues arent being addressed at all, especially in Florida. If and when they are though, you'll finally be earning that drop program you cops like so much.
