You judge people who like to attend church and call them, brainwashed & weak-minded idiots? So, what do you believe in? Let me guess.....nothing. That will make you anything but an idiot, right?
I guess you are not celebrating Christams? Are you going to work tomorrow? Nothing special going on at your home? No gifts? No family time? No special dinner? If not, that is your choice, of course. With the statement you made, I just wanted to know if you were joining the rest of us idiots tomorrow, although we know what and why we are celebrating. BTW......MERRY CHRISTmas!!!!

Spanish River Church, a large church which had services at 2, 4, 6 and 8 was not listed either. This was not a complete list.

Merry Christmas
Peace on Earth

It's been a rough year; I think most will agree on that.

Hi. I'm the reporter who compiled the list of Christmas Eve services. It's true that the list wasn't complete, which is why we said "some churches."
I went mainly on three sources: 1) fresh notices sent in this year; 2) my Christmas Eve story in 1999, on the same topic; 3) any other churches I thought might have candlelight services. I missed Spanish River, and undoubtedly a lot of other churches. Which is why it's important for someone at each church to remember to let me know what's going on.
I may as well add a reply about the lack of Catholic churches in the list. Catholics don't commonly have candlelight services for Christmas Eve. Their big Christmas event is the Midnight Mass. A big seasonal event, to be sure, but for a different story.

I didn't think many Catholic congregations and members were open to outside visitors!?!?
