"said Vincent, a law enforcement officer".
Someone better get their facts right here. If he is a Law Enforcement Officer than I am the President. S.S. verify before you print this stuff. It takes very little effort.

Now Now Al Avello and Don Maines, concentrate on the issue at hand. Stop tantruming already. Since Don Maines made Tony Vincent endure an internal affairs investigation when Don Maines complained to his employer and said he was afraid of Tony when he spoke at town council meetings and since Don Maines put a picture of Tony Vincent wearing his uniform in one of his campaign flyers, I'm sure it was an honest mistake on the part of the Sun Sentinel. Since it was Don Maines who put Tony's picture on the political advertisement with the educational K-9 that Tony tours schools with; maybe you should concentrate on the Don Maines mistakes instead of the sentinel's job description. Tony Vincent works in law enforcement, wears a uniform, gives educational presentations with his K-9 (also wearing humane society / law enforcement vest). I wonder how the Sun Sentinel could have made such a gross error?

Stop whining already Al and Don.

1)"Maines, a Town Council member who lost Tuesday's election by 426 votes, said he had used the same ad in other places, each with a disclaimer.""It's just some mistake that happened down the line," he said.

MAYBE Don Maines and his treasurer should have proofed the ad in the Sun-Sentinel before it was published. Also, your admission of the mistake more than likely makes the Florida Elections Commision's job that much easier.

2)"That's just tit for tat," Maines said. "They violated the campaign laws and my treasurer called them out on it."

Maines and Avello, your "tit" is going to cost you where their "tat" won't.

I am a SWR resident who receives the e-mails from Wanch Waggler. Since when is an email considered political advertisement? The only thing I saw that was close to a political statement in the e-mails that I got was where it said "If you're happy with the way things are being done in our town, vote Don Maines" how is that promoting McKay? Has the e-mail voice been promoting Doug McKay since the 1970's?

Please tell me you're not that big of a moron. You think all people who work in law enforcement are sworn personnel? What costume did you wear on Halloween, the Don Maines' horses arse costume?

This guy could be a Public Service Aide and guess what, when he writes you a ticket at a crash scene it's the same Uniform Traffic Citation that the sworn personnel issue you; and another guess what? It's the same price and penalty as a sworn's citation, no break on the fine because he's a civilian. If he works for Davie PD or Pembroke Pines PD or Miami-Dade PD or BSO or Hollywood PD you can bet he's been through the academy and he can indeed write you ignorant arse a big fat ticket.

You have shown your ignorance to everyone who may read these posts.

Oh Please, everyone play nice... you're all acting like little kids and you all know that politics is a nasty place to be since it's all over rated. Let Maines and McKay work it out themselves and leave them alone. Maines has done a good job and maybe it's time to move on, who knows?

Look you simpleton let me explain this on your level. If a CSA identifies him or herself as a LEO he or she is committing a crime. It may just seem like terminology to you but it is not. Just explains your ignorance. Now go back to shoveling poop.

I don't know where you get your facts but community service officers are NOT SWORN they can write only non-criminal citations due to an accident and need a certified law enforcement officers signature to write anything that is criminal also related to a traffic accident. The academy that they go through has nothing to do with the police academy. Also they can not pull you over and write you a citation.

Please Factual, read the statement I wrote again. I stated the facts exactly as facts. Who said anything about criminal citations or pulling people over? I said they (certified non-sworn civilians) can write tickets at an accident scene. I never said the non-sworns were "pulling people over". I said the citation is a UTC (uniform traffic citation), non-criminal citations are written on the same stock as criminal citations. And as for the academy that certified civilians attend by law, MUST BE an FDLE certified academy, so even though it is not the same academy as the sworn personell attend it is an academy required by law if these particular civilians are able to determine fault at a crash scene and issue a uniform traffic citation. Some of the academy's that the civilians attend also certify them as Crime Scene Investigative personnel too. I said absolutley nothing about traffic stops or issuing criminal citations.

The non-sworn personnel must appear in traffic court when subpoenaed for their (non-criminal) issuances of uniform traffic citations and I can guarantee you that the judge or magistrate couldn't care less if he or she is sworn or non-sworn.

So that's where I get MY facts!

My facts are straight.

Oh, you really are that big of a moron! Where did it say that this CSA identified themselves as a LEO? The sun-sentinel identified him as a law enforcement officer. That just explains your ignorance. If you are going to accuse him of impersonating a police officer, get to it, but be very sure you have your facts straight. This guy is not a "simpleton" like you have addressed me. Now you may go back to shoveling Don Maines' horses poop...now that you screwed up his campaign and caused him to lose. You are Don's "financial advisor" I'm guessing, or maybe Don himself; who else would know that he was a CSA as opposed to a PSA or code enforcement officer (all of which by the way, come under the heading of Department of Law Enforcement). Bye Al. Bye Don.
