Why don't they just merge into one regional paper. They keep cutting costs, and laying off staff. It will definitely be an improvement for the Sun. You get more coverage of Broward news, in the Herald.

You know they're struggling when they have to team up to save their old model outdated business. Welcome to the future!

Your sensational yellow journalism stories can't even save you now.

Good for who? When was the last time you saw any in-depth reporting out of the SunSentinel?

i gotta say, i ask myself almost every morning "why do i still subscribe to the sentinel?" i mean it has gone downhill so much that it's like they've jumped the shark as far as saving money v. putting out a decent paper. if things are that bad then just shut it down. i love reading the paper while eating breakfast, but i really do feel like i'm getting ripped off. it's frustrating, there's like no stories anymore.

As if they don't already just steal stories from all the other papers anyway? I mean they don't even change the writing as it is.

As long as the headline writer from the Sentinel stays on board...Especially the one who incorrectly spells all the names of the Panther players on the sports page, I'm good with it.

There is no way I could go on without that comedy!

Since all three papers are going to have the same content they can change the masthead to "PRAVDA" while they're at it...(Maybe "GRANMA" for The Miami Herald...)

so will the Democrats enforce the fairness doctrine here? Or are they just after those who they consider "right wing?'

Maybe this consolidation will put a fire under the lazy sun sentinel's writing staff. Forcing them to actually go out and look for a story that means something to us. Instead of the same repetitive stories over and over and over.

Sun Post Herald?
Herald Sun Post?

This is good news. Maybe the Sun Sentinel will return to it's former self. The new format with two double spaced articles per page with the rest advertisments sucks.

sounds good. now the seminoles can spend another million buying the palm beach post and miami herald staff. They already own the sun-sentinel weekend section.

I thought they already shared their copy
seems like the papers have been a mirror image of each other for years now
