Although Lamberti has brought harmony to this agency, the PBA front office is a bunch of scumbags who are borderline thugs hiding behind the veil of this organization. The Sheriff has not done himself any favors here.

Al Lamberti has been working very hard in restoring the integrity back at the S.O. After that Criminal Jenne and his smarmy ways it’s refreshing to see an honest real law man running the place.

The police unions are important. Look at Fort Lauderdale and all the problems that they had with the city and the union.

This just shows that the County and the Union are working together.

Good Job!

"The fact that the agency has confidence in me as a leader, obviously, it's the most important to me," Lambert said.

This is nothing more than...."you give us $$$ and we'll give you our vote"...Quid-pro-quo..Thi s has NOTHING to do with confidence in leadership...get real Lamberti, wake up.

"The vote gives deputies better cost-of-living increases than initially offered by Lamberti, while forcing deputies who live outside of the county to pay fees for take-home vehicles." Lamberti gets my vote for that provision alone.

P.S. The PBA (like most labor unions) RARELY endorses a Repblican. That speaks volumes

Now lets get back to work and continue to clean the agency. There are a few people at the top that need to go.

This is a no brainer, but the union should be applauded for getting behind Sheriff Lamberti well in advance of election day.

Why wouldn't they endorse him.He bought the deputies off with 13% pay raises over 3 years, they keep their free use take home cars, and all the free gas they want. This in spite of a fiscal crisis, where the county is cutting back everywhere.I can't wait to see how crime is going to plummet with him in charge.

Dick Brickman, president of the Broward County Police Benevolent Association is going to have a nice $150,000.00 a year job under Big Al's new administration. Ole Dick is no fool. Scott wasn't offering that. Commander Brickman. Union thug that's all.

Cops and firemen don't get along. Mt brother, the fireman, says it's because they have to slop from the same trough. They firemen are just lazy and stupid and bang eachother's wives , the cops are down right dangerous and violent. They beat up their wives. Be careful of cops they are unpredictable and insane at times. The cops will steal "The Boot".

By far and away, the only Qualified candidate for the postion. The most are 2 faced, egotistical, self-serving re-treaded losers, who couldn't get elected dog catcher in Sweetwater in a fixed election. And it's no mystery...Mr...............
