Which gets the hair straighter and frizz free the kearatin Complex Smoothing Therapy by Capola or the Pravana Straightening
Coppola is the best Pravana sucks. Do research on all keratin txs. It is going on 4 years from my first time and my hair was like Diana Ross now pin straight and silk. The stylist needs to know what she is doing because if not bad results. Look on this forum and read what people say. Be careful because alot of stylists say they are using Coppola and they are not. You need to look at ALL the bottles they use. Good luck.

Denise, my hair is dry, curly and frizzy. I blow dry it straight daily. I have both highlights and low lights. What do you know and think about the Global Keratin formeldahyde free product? Do you recommend that or just the Peter Copolla product? Are you ever in Fort Lauderdale, Florida? I bet there are a few people who would like to meet you and have you do their hair...like me. Thanks for all of your help and direction.

Using a Japanese straightener would be one of the worst things you could possibly do. It will further break the bonds of the hair and damage the hair more. You should use something like KeraLuxe. It will rebuild the hair and give you long-lasting, smoothing results.

Hi,
I'm noticing that these postings are about permanent straightening as well as keratin. I've been performing the Bio Ionic (permanent)straightening since 2005 with amazing results. I have stayed away from the keratin treatments even though some claim to be formaldehyde-free. Did you know that they get around that claim by using chemicals that are almost the same as formaldehyde? It's apalling because they are lying about it being safe. I could make a TON of money doing them but I don't want to make money now and give it to the doctor later.

One Last piece of information:

OSHA recommends that salon owners use products that do not contain formaldehyde, methylene glycol, formalin, methylene oxide, paraform, formic aldehyde, methanal, oxomethane, oxymethylene or Chemical Abstract Service Number 50-00-0.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT MANY OF THE COMPANIES THAT ARE PROMOTING THEIR 'FORMALDEHYDE FREE' KERATIN SMOOTHING FORMULAS ARE SUBSTITUTING THE FORMALDEHYDE WITH THE CHEMICALS LISTED ABOVE.

Thank you Blair4Hair I know the risks. Before I got my first tx. almost 4 years ago I researched it for 2 months prior and I believe that the dldehyde in Coppola is what makes the hair straight. I have seen results by other companies that state their products are ORGANIC really! Any tx. you do to the hair is a chemical. My hair is AMAZING and people stop me all the time and ask about my hair. Wish I knew about this is High School. Prior to Coppola my hair was Diana Ross and now Jennifer Aniston. I LOVE LOVE it and it has changed my life and really we all die from something. Seriously it takes me 10 min. to blow and my husband does not have to wait hours for me. Meg

Sorry spelled Aldehyde wrong a little tired. Also Salons are very sneaky they say they are using Coppola and they are not. The most important thing is people need to do their research. Also bad results is stylist not trained.

One more thing I wanted years ago to get the thermal done but I straighten my hair with African American product and was told NO? Hair can not have keratin txs. or chemical strightners for 4-6 months. My sister loves the Coppola but hates doing it 3 months.

Hi. I have been doing relaxers is my hair ever since I could remember! It's causing a lot of breakage and I am looking to try something different. I have been looking into keratin relaxers! I don't know how these really work? And there are not a lot of reviews and information online. I made an appointment with a new hairstylist tomorrow! They said they use lasio keratin relaxer!? There is nothing about this online!! It's a lot of money I have to pay, so I just want to make sure I am doing the right thing?!

I have had the Keratin treatment done 5x - THE BEST shampoo/conditioner is Pureology regardless of what your hairdresser tells you. Its the ONLY thing I use and my treatments usually last me six months.

WARNING !!! Please be careful with these keratin straightening processes. My hair fell out from the root, lost approx 45 % of my hair and is only now growing back 8 months later.. I'm not the only one either check out these stories of other poor women losing hair by the handful !

Fitst of all so sorry for you. 4 years later and love COPPOLA Keratin tx. First you need to go to someone who knows what they are doing and bad results can happen with anything. Keratin is a condition tx. no harsh chemicals on the hair. just bad stylists. It pss. me off when people say things like what happened to you and blame the product and it is not it is who performed your service and what products they used.

I'm tired of my frizzy hair but don't want it to be flat and straight. My hairdresser recommened Keraluxe and said she'd NOT do the flat iron on my hair so my curls will be healthier with no frizz. Has anyone had this kind of application and how was the results?
