Used to drop into the Rocker for a few drinks, dancing and hopes of meeting a nice lady to hang out with. Have not been there 4 years because I am a civilian and most of the ladies were looking 4 a soldier. Curiously, I did hear of something wild happening June 25,2009 about a woman highly intoxicated being thrown out and carted off kicking and screaming by the MPS. The club must have really changed alot since I use to go there. Does anybody know anything about this incident and what happened. I don't want to go back if it has turned into a knock down drag out joint. Should I check it out and do u think this was an isolated incident. No where to go where I live to have a few drinks in peace(no fighting) and hopefully meet a nice lady. Any advice would b appreciated.

I went to the Rocker about 3 weeks ado and that was the first time i had been back in 5 years. Nothing has really changed. If you are a civilian and you DO NOT work on post then you will NOT be allowed in. If you do work on post then you can go in.

I'm not sure that you'll want to attract a 'nice lady' from there. No offense, folks. I haven't been there in ages because I am a REAL nice lady and it seemed like a meat market. I'd like to meet a nice man, too, but I don't think that's the place to find a quality person.

Sorry, I don't know anything about the incidence. Just offering my perception of the place. Good luck to you.

NICE ladies even go to the rocker. NOT all women go for the meat!

Thats the way it should be. Most of the problems in the past have been from civilians that didnt work there.

The Rocker used to be the old EM club until around 1988, and the Rocker was over in the old WWII barracks by the BEQ. The Officer's club by the main gate became the "All Ranks Club" after that. I thought the "Rocker" was called the "Rocker II"? It used to be back in the late 80's and 90's anyhow. Memories!! I mostly went after work for a couple of beers, and on Sunday's for football on the big screen. I'd hook up with one of the girls there if I was bored though. It was THAT EASY.

I loved Fort Knox when the 194th AB was a combat brigade instead of a training brigade...

I luv the rocker, went last weekend and had a blast! Didn't have to buy one drink, made a few friends but went home with my girls! Nice ladies go there too, its not a meat market unless your giving the impression that's what your there for! No matter what club you go to, you have your looking for a one night stand men and women! JUST SAYING!:)

I was an MP on duty the night the old rocker club burned down in 91'? We guarded the ashes and enjoyed all the liquor after the fire in the back room that only had smoke damage...a young girl who was the DJ was very sad as the fire destroyed all her records, but one that was special to her that serviced in the middle of the stack...

Those were the days...pull over the good looking chicks to come into the guard house to sign find National guard making out on the range roads

Great memories

You all remember a little ole tavern near the Rocker called proud Legions? When I was in the Army Reserves we used to go to all the clubs on post during our Annual Training. The Rocker club was an enlisted only club and the officers in our unit couldn't get in so we would sign them in as a guest. This was back in 1991-1995.
