Of all the things wrong in the world today, THIS is what you choose to bitch about?

It's also wrong to judge other's too. Does it affect you what other's do in their life? Why do you care what strangers do in their win homes? Not attacking, but am curious.

Famine, disease, war, stealing, murder, rape, pedeophillia, corruption, and the only thing that concerns you are people testing the waters before they decide to get married? I love Kentucky.

Awe, that's just that backward thinking Dad. He thought when his 29 y/o daughter got married she was a virgin. Yeah virgin if you don't count that football team. Hell, she caught some things she can't get rid of that weekend!

No, Mandy, it's wrong to judge others and be a hypocrite about it.
Everyone is judge others, and it happens all of the time.

Of all of the recent posts I have browsed, yours, Joshua Meador,
yours is one of the most stupid, ignorant, and disingenuous ones.
It should be insulting to have to tell anyone that attacking the messenger by trying to marginalize their topic choice is such a
non-argument-making ploy.
The "of all the things that are wrong in the world today, this is
what you choose to bitch about" supposed argument is complete and
total garbage.
A person could claim that about any topic. If you don't understand that, then you are dumb.

you, Add, are another mightily stupid user. Not only is your post invalid (as I schooled another user in this threed), but yours
goes to another stupid level. Yuo never presume something about someone and try to use that as a premise.

You showed that with the "and the only thing that concerns you"
idiotic presumption.

to be quite frank about it, i chose this topic because if we can show that the least of what is considered immoral, is still immoral, how much more of an offense is it to commit the greater sins?(the murder, adultery, rape, sodomy, and so on)
in our day it is 'legal' to murder an unborn child,(usually a result of some sexual sin(adultery, fornication before marriage, rape, and so on)
it is acceptable with many to be a 'swinger', to commit adultery, to get a 'no-fault' divorce as a way of excuse to not really have to love anyone but themselves.

the problem resides in the human heart itself. you are free to do as you please, but what pleases you?
anything that serves yourself is what pleases most folks today.
now the question is what to do about it?
Only God can change a heart, and make the motives pure.

I'm not a hypocrite. What other's do in their own lives doesn't affect me. As long as they aren't hurting anyone I don't care what anyone else does. Maybe you are a hypocrite, but speak for yourself only. Also you didn't school anyone as you said. Everyone has a right to their opinions, but I have to agree that there are more important things going on in the world to worry about than people living together without being married.

I think this topic is dumb. No matter what is done within our entire lifetime, people will still live together before marriage whether its legal or not. There's absolutely nothing we can do to change it so why even waste the time?

when people actually read the bible and communicate truths the same way jesus did in the gospels.
the shameful things you think about in your mind are just as harmful, and probably inspired this post. everyone is guilty!

What's wrong with living with someone before you get married? How do you know you can spend the rest of your life with someone if you're not even sure you can live with them? What if you get married then find out you can't stand to live with that person? When you move in with someone, you find out a lot about that person, stuff you'd never know otherwise: hygiene, cleaning up after themselves, sleeping habits, morning routine, etc.. A lot of people find out these little things clash with their lifestyles. Moving in with someone before marriage is a must. I would never marry someone without living with them first, that's just asking for trouble. I had a friend who had a great, movie-esque-type relationship with a girl. They were ready for marriage, it was the real deal. That is until they moved in together. To be brief, they couldn't stand each other after the first month.

"She eats in the bed, he leaves his clothes everywhere, she doesn't flush the toilet, he never rinses the hair out of the sink" and on and on...

You don't truly know someone until you've lived with them, it's foolish to marry someone without knowing if you can live with them. Give me one good reason that people shouldn't move in together before marriage. If it involves religion, don't even bother responding.

DickW, you shouldn't expect to see a solid argument because there isn't one. The ONLY reason that anyone has stated thus far is religeous belief. Ergo, no "logical" case can be made against cohabitation.

as i have said before, your idea that moving in together as a test, is based on your own selfish idea of what a marriage should be. you are basically saying, that if this other person cant please me, or live up to my expectations, that they may, "hit the road".
Freind, that is not love, that is selfishness. you dont understand that love means overlooking one anothers faults, self-denial, self-sacrifice, not self-pleasing, self-gratifying, and so on. this is one argument against moving in together. it is wrong, and immoral to be sure in many respects other than the sexual aspects of the relationship.

and oh yeah, it is a sin according to the bible to commit adultery and fornication. i have old sermons , where they teach it is wrong for an unmarried couple to hold hands! what a shift in our thinking we have today, and what an increase of STD's and suffering we have to go along with it.

I am assuming then you have also plucked out your eyes & cut off your hands since the bible says that too. Don't just pick what you want from it. Live it all if you are going to try & preach to everyone. My church teaches forgiveness. I guess your's doesn't.
