If the Korean missiles misfire, I think Alaska will not be hit. It will bear the sensors to go to Siberia instead, or to the Bering Sea.

Who are the lower 48 states? We are. What aren't they telling us? They are afraid we will panic. Once again, fear raises it's ugly head. Those of us on the Pacific Coast are in danger of being hit by those missiles and we aren't prepared, they are just preparing Alaska. We need to be prepared more than we need to be afraid. A nuclear attack comes with radiation fallout, and it spreads. Even if they hit the incoming missiles the radiation is a problem. Where are the heads of this country? on the far east coast of the United States. They are less likely to be hit and they know it. Something tells me we are in trouble. Let's pray that the east coast loves the west coast. Love, Peace and Wisdom.

Those North Korean monkeys don't have the technology to miniaturize a nuclear warhead for an ICBM and they probably won't for many years. The North Koreans are crazy but they are not stupid. They know that we would nuke them back to the stone age if they launched on the U.S. This is the same type of scare tactic that gave us the Patriot Act, Real ID act, Military Commissions Act and a host of other liberty stealing laws.

Which part about "In Space" confuses you? if the missle is intercepted in space, the fissile material would be in space or burn up on reetry. There would be no nuclear explosion.

That sawed off head honcho north korean is merely postulating and fluffing his feathers while getting his puny rocks off toying with, and embarrassing Obama. Sanctions? Yeah. Right. Those do alot of good. He launches, we destroy it.
We sink the ship purportedly carrying nuclear components
for a nuclear warhead, and we deny it. Plausable deniability. Someone sank your ship? Bummer, man. Who would do a thing like that? Wasn't us ......

He's just a recalcitrant juvenile with a Napoleon Complex who needs to shut the heII up before someone does it for him. For good.

Just saw in the news about N. Korea printing U.S. Dollars and paying off some of their debt...
Nuclear war-heads are so old fashoned, we are choking on our own debt and N. Korea is cashing in on our misery...Sounds like a winner!

your fear comes from a lack of information {if}they fired a missile at our brothers to the south your first line of defense would be our missile base at fort greely alaska and weve had sixty years to prepare for hundreds of nuks pointed at us 1 or 2
seems like a walk in the park
