.......lol Thanks for the laugh.
Oh, all my children have made it to adult hood through proper parenting and are successful, contributing adults to society. All this means is I did take precautions when activites called for it..... born and raised in Oklahoma so I'm highly familar with all the lakes.
I know kids run off.... I never once said she was a bad mother, never once have I said this wasn't tragic....... What I have said.. is it was preventable.
Now... if you can't agree with that statement and YOU have children... God help us.
Yes most deaths are preventable whether it is a drowning, heart attack, fire, or car wreck. We get you point you opinionated *****. I'm glad that your kids have made it to adulthood but lets remember that this mother won't get the same joy that makes you the outstanding citizen that you are.

We are friends of the grandparents and have seen the mom and grandparents devastation over this loss. We pray for their comfort and peace at this time. It is a horrible loss to this family and our prayers are with them. No matter what your personal feelings are hold them up in prayer.
I'm so sorry for everyones loss and even more sorry that people sit here and talk crap on a website when an innocent child has died. I was the first one there to catch the mother before she got to Christian and I tried to hold her and tell her the guys doing CPR were doing everything they could. I also talked to the brother and hugged him. I've never felt so horrible and helpless in my entire life. I was also there when another woman left a message on the grandmothers phone to call back because there was an emergency. I will truly never forget that night and I've seen Christians face and thought about him and his family every day since. I have an almost 7 yr old who was there with me...and all I can do is love on her and hold her. I can't imagine losing her! And for other readers....the situation wasn't perfect, but the mom WAS there with her kids. They were at the camper next to us and the boys were running around with their friends. I watch the mom try to light the grill and cook dinner....she was there. No mother is perfect and she's paying the ultimate price for taking her boys to the lake for a holiday weekend...don't judge her, PRAY for her and the family. This was a child! This was an innocent child who can't be replaced...and from her reaction the mother loved him! LOVED him!

Friend of the family....hug the mother and brother for me and tell them how sorry I am! I wish I could have helped more. I'm lifting you all up in prayer! Peace be with you and God Bless!

To the friends and the family of Christian I wouldnt read these blogs. People will always have there opinions it doesnt matter what they think. Dont stoop to other people's level by name calling just ignore them. Whats important now is lifting this family in there time of need not slinging crap back and forth. From what I have read I dont think people doubt this mothers love for her child. I hope anyway that they are just sad as well and want to understand how it could happen. I am going to chose to look at it this way anyway. I know for a fact she loved her son and he loved his mom and I am sure she is blaming herself enough. Please everyone lets have some peace on this one. The death of a child brings out alot of emotions but anger isnt going to make anyone feel better. Appreciate those who send there condolences and just ignore the rest.
