Support you local businesses!! and keep the bowling lanes for kids, young adults and families!! we had an opportunity to bowl through GAA/Girls Athletic Association ... does that exist anymore?

residents remain in a community that supports activities and opportunities for their children and families!!

Sorry Patty, but it's not over yet. The residents of this community had no say in this 5 day transaction. I think there was a little inside information to know the same day The owners went to the county and made an attempted deal, the county had just had an offer to purchase The Commons rejected by owners.

Yeah, it's been a real wholesome place. Booze, beer, and lottery tickets bring in more cash there than bowling. Send your kids up there if you want, but I will defer. I have no problem with replacing a beer joint with offices.

The buzz on the street --

AMF is interested in acquiring the Bowling Lanes contract from the county. AMF would trade their building on Trinity Ave plus cash for the contract. This is a two story building in exceptional condition. Both stories can be easily rehabilitated to offices. Three of the legislators are negotiating this deal and planned to present this to the entire BOL.
