What the hell were kids as young as 14 doing with a 23-year old that late at night? You can pin this one directly on Mommy & Daddy not knowing where their kids are!

i know most of the kids in the crash, too.and i cannot imagine what their families are going through.my sons get mad at me when they say all their friends are driving and they dont even have their permit.at 16 and 17,i know kids arent as responsible as they should be..i know i wasnt. its normal.it just kinda hit home because david was one of my sons best friends, and i think my son now understands why im so protective, even overbearingly so..the things i can control now,i will,no matter what! rest in peace guys, and to the families- im so sorry......

"Troopers say excessive speed played a role in the crash. "

There is one reason. Inexperience behind "da" wheel and lack of strong parental respect and guidance is "da" other reason.

I hope this helps all of their friends to use their heads before getting behind the wheel of a car.

These teens were all real good friends with my kids since they live a few houses up from us. That stretch of road is very dangerous. It's set up like a roller coaster and has sharp ups and downs. It was just a matter of time before something like this happened there. I just hope this serves as a lesson to other teens, including mine, who think their parents are being too strict about driving and knowing where they are at all times. R.I.P. to all of them. I was also wondering about the 23 y/o with all the teens as well and why wasn't she driving her own vehicle instead of the 17 y/o?
