I went out of town in February and kept my lab there for 1 1/2 weeks. I called every two days to check on him and I was assured that he was doing great and eating well and happy. When I went to pick him up, he was soooooo skinny. I could see his poor little ribs. As soon as we got in the car he threw up and had severe diarrhea. He stayed that way for 1 week. I fed him chicken and white rice and he eventually got back to normal. I'm not saying this is a bad place, it could have been separation anxiety that caused this, but I will not take him there again. Just to be on the safe side. They are inexpensive though...

I went here back when I used to Live in Watertown. They are all a bunch of mentally retarded druggies that work there. I was there once and my dog came back skittish and sick. When I asked the owner what happened, he told me outright that it was my fault, and he knew my dog better than me.

The beat the dog and feed them whenever they want. I hear they also like to fight some of the dogs. Stay away.

you are always much better off boarding with a reliable vet clinic. i would not trust doggiedoo to board my pets, they are getting a very bad reputation

We go to countryside vet in Carthage. Our pets cat and dog have always been cared for and very happy when we pick them up. When we had a fire our cat was there three weeks, he was very well taken care of. We stopped to see him with no notice quite a few times in that three weeks. His litter box was always clean, he had food and water and a few times there was even employees sitting with him petting him when we got there.

I have heard horror stories about doggiedo pets dying, being horribly skinny and sick. I wouldn't take my babies there.

Most vets board. Who is your vet? Have you ask if they board?

I can't speak on The Doggie Doo, but I can tell you that Purdy Paws, in Depauville was terrible! Overpriced and just not well kept.$30 Dollars for a wash, trim and blowdry? Really? All the woman that ran the place talked about while she was "working", was that her husband was Correctons Officer, and how much money he made. She said she only did the animal boarding, etc. as "a hobby". I later found out that one of her other "hobbies" was selling "adult novelty toys". Quite the interesting hobby to have "lady"!
